A guy I dated for a few months before I met my now H and I are still friends on FB and he’s selling his house and posted the listing. It’s weird looking at the pictures and thinking, “I had sex in that bed.” Lol

This does feel like its been the longest week! I need to stop online shopping. I have bought myself so many clothes and three swimsuits in the past week. We are going to Vegas in April and FL in May and I feel like I have nothing cute to wear in warmer weather so hopefully some of this stuff works. I already got one swimsuit and its getting returned today.
I also cannot stop looking at cars online. I'm so done with my mini van and have driven the crap out of it but there is nothing wrong with it and I could probably drive it another 100k miles. I want a full sized SUV like a Nissan Armada, Tahoe etc and they are way too expensive new and DH doesn't want to buy used. ugh I need to talk him into used otherwise I'll get something a little smaller like a Honda Pilot.

Since the new year started, I’ve lost 15 pounds and now none of my bras fit. I just measured myself and I went from a difficult to find size (44G) to an extremely hard to find size (measured as 40J, but due to my shape, I think it’ll probably be 40i). Part of my is dreading losing more weight because I feel like it will be even harder to find bras unless my cup size starts to shrink (pleaseeeee shrink!!). I just want to wear adorable little dainty colorful bras with 2 hooks instead of these massive ugly I-could-easily-wear-it-as-a-hat bras with 4-5 hooks 😢

We had a 90 min delay. Last week when that happened everyone but me wore jeans. Today I'm the only one in jeans. I feel like an a$$ even though it's slow and quiet. I should use the time to catch up on projects but can't get motivated. Put me in the long week category. Looking at a busy weekend too.

I'm still freaked out about tax stuff. I had $200 less withheld than last year. Our tax guy always says I should withhold more, have to ask him this year how much more, I already have $600 taken out in deductions including taxes every 2 weeks, how much more can I lose?

I need to take my dad to a tax apt. He's calling to plan something. Looking ahead at my calendar my March and April are super busy at work. Still haven't heard about the job if I'll get a first round interview, it hasn't been two weeks, but come on, I know one of the search commitee members (my boss) is going on vacation soon so that'll be another delay.

I read an essay by a teacher who said that she started having her class read in short bursts by setting an egg timer. Over time she'd increase the time they read to build up reading stamina, similiar to exercise. While I love to read, I find this facinating. I have wicked undiagnosed ADD so I need to try this as I'd love to commit to reading so many minutes in a row every day no matter what.

Where I went to college had some off site housing. This was a big party area. Eventually they sold the units back to the town since it was off campus property. We all joke about if the walls in those places could talk "let me tell you about what happened in this room..." Even though they were re-done before being sold again, those poor people who bought those units.

And I agree about the no periods for those done having (or never having) kids, it's a waste and a pain. I wish IUD's weren't so scary. I should try going on pills again but I like getting my body off of most chemicals.

TR, litskispeciality, I don't want to mess with my body. Which is why I guess no magic solution has happened. I guess I should be thankful my periods aren't bad as I know a lot of women deal with much worse.

My mom went into early menopause, maybe that will happen for me. So I can trade period problems for hormone fluctuations, lol.

I paid my taxes today. It sucks to owe, but I’m relieved to be done with it. Then I get an email that H’s truck taxes were due. Bye bye money!

Just booked our Thanksgiving cruise! Somehow between last night and today 2 side by side balconies opened up, so while it's not connecting, we can open up the balconies to go between.

It's way less invasive than a hysterectomy and totally worth it in my eyes. I'm in the middle of a period nightmare and I'm getting either a mirena or surgical something for fibroids depending on some upcoming ultrasound results.

I traded in my minivan for a barely used Tahoe and it was the best purchase I ever made!

I have been going back to sleep after the kids leave for school, I need to cut that out or I am going to be in a world of hurt when I finally get a job.

I had a relatively easy fibroid removal surgery (although I had to be put under), made a WORLD of difference, finally went back to one period less than one week. They offered me IUD instead of surgery, but I think due to the position of the fibroid I'd reject it, plus the extra bleeding and still having a fibroid when the IUD came out. Anyway my long winded ancedote is that I hope it's something you can "easily" fix then get relief. Good luck!

Thanks! I really trust my new and excellent doctor so I'll know more once I get my ultrasound. I feel like I'm finally getting myself fixed, whatever it takes to get there.

I just got back from my four-week check in with my orthopedic surgeon. I can't get over the x-rays and seeing that hardware in my back. On the left in the yellow circle, you can see how there was no space in between my discs and that's why I was experiencing such severe nerve pain.

WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE THEME PARKS SO MUCH? OMG. I'm old b/c about half way in, I was ready to go home. It was hot, SUPER long lines (we had to leave a ride completely to make the bus after waiting over 80 minutes. Line estimator was WRONG!), the boys were rambunctious so they kept running into people and I'm trying to nicely say "knock it the fuck off already", they were whiney, hungry, hot, thirsty. One kid was super whiney supreme, he also didn't bring money and kept asking me to buy him stuff.

This is a good reminder of why, as a family, we go so rarely.

AND i got sick (not throwing up, just super nauseated) from the first roller coaster. *awesome* lol.

Link what you ordered! Online swimsuit shopping is the only thing that gets me through Mid-January to Mid-March, lol.

I got a swimsuit order today and it's alllll going back *womp womp* I really like the bottoms but the top was horrible for my small chest and I don't need a random pair of non-matching bottoms.

My older son has applied for a magnet middle school and the decisions are due out tomorrow. H has some pretty important medical tests coming up next Monday that may change a lot of lifestyle factors for us. DS 2 is having his first good year in school ever and has an IEP meeting on Wednesday where I'm certain we'll discuss stepping down to a 504 plan. Oh, and we just found out today that our timeline for H leaving the Army may have just moved up by a full year, meaning that we might be in a position to move someplace permanently this summer instead of next.

This week is a lot. Next week is going to be a lot. I would really love to be able to hit the fast forward button right now to get through this bit because my anxiety is going nuts even though most of these changes are things we've always wanted, just maybe not all at once.

I wear Panache almost exclusively and order from Amazon, so free shipping and returns.

I’m an H and get fitted at Nordstrom. The elomi brand is my favorite and I can often find them online.

Do you live in an area with a good lingerie type store? There are couple near me and they can do custom fittings and tons of brands. I think it is worth looking into. A good fitting bra makes such a difference especially by people who really know what they are doing.

My chest still has this weird feeling to it, this is how i was feeling just as i was getting sick last week. Like almost a scratchy sensation, but down in the chest. I can't describe it well. i just don't know why it is starting back up again.

Hmmm ...
My go to is Vick’s heavy but I love that stuff 😂take mucinex or decongestant (depending on sinus vs chest), a hot steam shower with a Vick’s pod and sit in a room with a humidifier with a Vick’s tab in it.

I’ve searched and I haven’t found much around me. We don’t even have a Nordstrom. Our other department stores don’t carry a lot in their bigger sizes. There’s one local store that’s supposed to be fantastic but they carry zero items that are even remotely close to my size.I think that once I get down to a 38 band size, I’ll have better luck. Until then, I guess I’m stuck with online shopping. ☹️
