I see everyone new(ish) is doing intros so I figured I would jump in as well.
For those we don’t remember/know me here is my history:
-it took us 4 yrs, and 6 pregnancies to have our daughter -I required D&Cs for 3 of our 5 losses. (Losses at 5, 15, 10, 9, 5 weeks) - I don’t always ovulate without assistance, 3 of my pregnancies were by clomid
I had an IUD placed after my daughter and we had that removed in August. After that I got pregnant on our first cycle trying, which surprised us both. (Last time I came off of hormonal birth control it took me almost a year to get a period and that was induced by meds)
My second beta was lower then my first. So we waited to miscarry, which took 5 weeks for my beta to be 0. And once that happened I finally got a period back.
We started to see a RE/loss clinic, one that we saw with my prior pregnancies. But then we decided to make the move back to our home town. (Best decision ever!) So I called the RE there, who I’ve also seen and got an appointment.
A week before that appointment I found out that I am pregnant again. We did betas and they rose, not as much as expected by almost as much. Then we went in and had an ultrasound, we saw baby’s heart beat and baby measured 6 weeks exactly. (I should have been further along by dates but we weren’t worried because I don’t ovulate normally, and from my fertility signs I figured I was 6-7 weeks) They said come back in 10 days and we will check on baby.
When I went back the second time the heart beat was significantly slower, and measuring 6 weeks and maybe a day or two. So no growth really. The RE said I most likely would miscarry.
We went back 4 days later and sure enough there was no heartbeat. I took Misoprostol on Wednesday, I’ve never been in pain like that before. But it worked. So now we wait until my betas zero, and then we have the fun of starting all of the RE stuff all over again.
That was very long. It’s 2am and I can’t sleep so I figured I would write this.

Welcome. I'm so very sorry for your losses. I hope your stay is short.
I'm here with three losses (5, 7, and MMC with D&C at 10 weeks) in the last year and a half TTC our third. My last loss was similar watching things progress poorly via beta and ultrasounds. It's heartbreaking. ((Hug))
We've just started trying again after seeing RE doctors since my last loss in October. Low AMH was the only thing to come back abnormal.
Welcome and I hope you were able to fall back asleep! 😊
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
Thanx ladies. I’m sorry that some of you are here again as well.
RPL is defiantly horrible.
We have no diagnosis but our daughter was carried by taking fragmin (blood thinner) injections, as the RPL clinic said that they see a 80% increase in carrying to term after unexplained repeated losses.
We tried that with both these losses, so our “miracle drug” that everyone (family/friends)keep telling us will allow us to carry another baby to term. I’ve tried telling them it’s not a sure thing. After all only 4% of people have more then 2 losses and here we sit with 7 now. 😞
Only our parents know about these losses. We have decided not to share with others at this time.
I look forward to getting to know all you ladies again.
