I’m playing it safe and skipping my trail run today because my foot has been hurting. Instead, I’m meeting a friend for a shorter, flatter run and then getting a late breakfast.
I'm going to ride do 40-45 miles on the rail trail shortly. My group ride was cancelled today. I have a nutrition clinic put on by my cycling team's Registered Dietitian this evening at a local brewery, who is one of our sponsors.
I’m at swim practice with DS. I’m nursing a foot injury and don’t know what to do with myself without my daily run! At least I’m well rested?! I hope to get on my bike, but it’s a busy day of driving kids around. We are going to a minor league hockey game tonight which should be fun. (Is it called minor league in hockey? I don’t even know. )
I did 16 miles with some buddies. We ran on mount Vernon trail which was really nice. We even saw some bald eagles. I got to run with a few friends I hadn’t seen in a while so that was really great.
After almost 60 miles this week, I’m very happy to have a rest day tomorrow.

I ran 16 miles this morning. Just as we finished it started the snow/rain storm, we got super lucky to get in our miles beforehand. Laying low the rest of the weekend, hoping to wrap up taxes.
I ran 15 trail miles this am. The first 10 were fine but the last 5 were horrible. oswin that one took me 3:40 with 1200 feet of elevation gain. So am overall pace of 14:44. A much easier trail than last weekend. Every time is so different!

Woke up late this morning. Guess I needed sleep. H and I went for a 3 mile walk downtown this afternoon and I’m going to dinner in an hour with my mom.
I think I’m going to upgrade my gym membership to include classes. I need to mix it up.
