Mr. Gosar is having a very “I’m in CONTROL of my time!” session! Yelling, interrupting, being horribly demeaning! Then he refers to the multiple texts he’s been receiving from people asking “How can anyone believe this pathological liar*?! He doesn’t know fact from fiction!! And that’s what’s sad here...” Nope- what’s sad, Gosar, is you’re using your time to relay text messages you “have received” during testimony to spin your BS ridiculous R narrative! *Cohen
Did Cohen just thank him for congratulating him on being the first person invited back after lying to Congress? Lol.
My friend said Elliot Abrams just did, not like 2 weeks ago? mbcdefg - reminds me of the job description for Mr. Burn's assistant "lying to congress...and some light typing"

Tweet: Andrea Mitchell @mitchellreports .@matthewamiller on House R’s questioning Cohen: If I were them, I would ask myself, how have I put myself in that position that I'm the one coming off worse in these exchanges than someone who is now a convicted felon? #AMR
I think he finally realized how fucked he was once he realized that he was going to jail and that Trump gave no shits about him and there was no way to save himself, so he really has nothing left to lose...except for his family. I think he was really knocked down a peg and is at the fuck it point.
Agreed. I expected my opinion to change a bit after questioning started, but it hasn't.

Thought some might equally appreciate: The claim that a man who hires a Black person can't be racist is as stupid as the idea that a man who marries a woman can't be misogynist. #CohenTestimony ———- And adding this one that has a Cohen quote I didn’t see directly quoted but is GOLDEN:
"I'm responsible for your silliness. I did the same thing that you're doing now, for ten years. I protected Donald Trump for 10 years.” - Michael Cohen says to Republicans on the House Oversight Committee
Dammit I had to make a phone call. What did I miss???
Something to the effect of - I thought I was here to answer questions about Trump, and so far, no Republican has asked me questions about Trump. If you want to keep having me apologize for my mistakes, I will, but I thought you wanted to know what I know about Trump.
So far Cohen seems way more believable and decent than the Freedom Caucus stooges. JFC. The voters need to come get their trash. (Jordan, Meadows, et al).
I think he finally realized how fucked he was once he realized that he was going to jail and that Trump gave no shits about him and there was no way to save himself, so he really has nothing left to lose...except for his family. I think he was really knocked down a peg and is at the fuck it point.
To use my second pop culture reference today, he's really reminding me of Saul Goodman in the Cinnabon right about now. I think he's lamenting his mistakes on a personal level and how personally humiliating and humbling it has been, and I do have some sympathy for that.
That said, he doesn't come across as a man who has come to terms with himself or the magnitude of damage to this country and to the world that he helped to bring about. That's why I don't trust him, even though I believe his words.
That all said, there is something truly astonishing about watching the president's actual partner in crime sit before Congress after having been sentenced to prison. And it's enraging when you remember that this is what the GOP has spent 2+ years trying to cover up.
