PSA: Sephora’s weekly wow is Clinique take the day off balm. It’s sold out online but still listed in stock at stores near me FYI. Also 50% off are Marc Jacobs liquid lipstick.
I’m annoyed o saw these today instead of yesterday, when I could have ordered without dragging myself to a store.
mfluder, Sephora is doing Daily Wows this week so those deals are only available today. Yesterday it was half off of UD Vice lipsticks and something else I'm forgetting at the moment. Tomorrow the deals will be different.

OH! See I shouldn’t probably read and not just skim my emails. Now that makes more sense because I saw a picture of vice lipstick but didn’t see it offered.

My son, 6, is very into watching me do my make up. Asks lots of questions, I give him a pat of powder, that sort of thing. I'm getting ready for work, and I just hit pan on Undone in Naked Basics 2. This is probably the first dark color I've ever hit pan on, so I let out a little "woohoo!" He asked why, and I said that I hit pan and explained what that meant when he asked. Then he said, "good job, mummy. Way to go!" Lololol. I doubt anyone irl would see the humor in this.

I wore a mustard shirt today under a black blazer. I had a hard time deciding on my makeup. Googling showed mostly basic nude eye and red lip. I didn't want to wear a bold lip today. Tomorrow's outfit is green shirt under black blazer. I should have planned my accompanying makeup looks with my clothes when I was packing for this trip.
I’m really enjoying the fabfitfun boxes but man they take f o r e v e r to ship. Especially when ever other ad I see online is for the current box.
Yes! I got a shipping notice on 2/27. Still haven’t received it.
They’re stalking me lol. I got an email this morning saying they’re working hard to get it shipped...by April 1st. It shouldn’t take a month to ship everything out when I’m billed on the 1st of March.

That's strange. I got my box last week.
Are you an annual or seasonal subscriber?
ETA: I just re-read your post saying you were billed on 3-1. I guess that would mean you are a seasonal subscriber. I have an annual subscription, so that's probably why I got mine already. They must ship them before seasonal.

Yeah seasonal. I should just suck it up and get the annual.
Women are wearing mustard clothing all over the place at this conference I’m at. Here I thought I was embracing a color that wasn’t popular. LOL
Mustard is all the rage among my high school girls. In fact, I said to one yesterday that it is becoming her signature color. They're wearing a lot of burgundy eyes with it. Either really dark or nude lips.

Mustard is one of my favorite colors. It's so happy. My Dagne Dover laptop bag is mustard.
I bet it looks amazing with your hair!
I like a nineties rosy brown lip with mustard. Something like Bite Chai or Mac Whirl.
I definitely need more yellow in my life. When I wore it Wed., I just did a very basic neutral look. Kind of meh about it. I like the idea of a brown lip or burgundy. I didn’t have the right red with me or I would have done that.

It's a really good work handbag color. This is the second one I've owned in that color. It goes with Black, brown, gray, and navy, as well as most colors. It really only is a little awkward with cooler pastels, which are the worst possible colors on me anyway.
Bonus: I pretty frequently have to meet one on one with people in person who I've never met before in hotel lobbies or restaurants. Way easier for them to find me with "I've got a yellow laptop bag" then "I have brown hair and if it's cold, I'll have on a black coat."
I just got the new ABH Dipbrow gel and the Pat McGrath FetishEyes mascara. I tested both out for my date last night and I liked them a lot. I did end up with a little smudging under my eyes, but lately I haven't been setting with prefer at all, so maybe if I try that, it will help.
ETA: I also got a mini of the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Berry with Sephora points. I tried it out last night and so far I like it as much as all of your raves about it led me to believe I would.

Is the ABH thing different from Gimme Brow? I feel like all these companies just copy each other. Now everyone has the Hourglass eye thing shaped like a triangle, too.
The Ulta 21 days of beauty is really good this time! I’ve got my eye on a few things. Sadly, the day I’m most interested in will be the day I have to travel.

I think it has a wider shade range than Gimme Brow. I know in a lot of brow products, there's not a good shade for me. It's a nice, matte gel that holds well. It's fairly subtle to everyone but me so far.
As I unpack our HBA stuff, I am impressing myself with how much of our stash that we have used up over the past 6 months. We only have 2 bottles of body wash waiting in the wings, I only have the shampoo that I'm using, etc etc. I still have an assload of candles and hair styling products, so I need to get a move on using those things.
Not exactly makeup related but does anyone have a recommendation to prevent scarring?
I fell last week and got a pretty bad gash on my forehead. The person who stitched me up did a good job and it's healing well but I really want to do everything I can to prevent or reduce scarring. So far I have heard Vitamin E and Cocoa Butter but I thought this board might have some ideas.

supposedly mederma actually works? I do not have any personal experience to back that up.

Rose hip oil. I had a pretty bad cat scratch on my hand from last year that looked like it was scarring. I just started rubbing rose hip oil on it each day after using it on my face and its just about gone now.
Daily Vitamin C is helping to reduce hyperpigmentation around breakouts for me, better than azelaic acid did. I have a blemish right now with zero redness around it, which is like some kind of fucking sorcery.

Mederma and liberal use of sunscreen. Mederma also has one with SPF in it.
