Non orange-y bronzer

I'm looking for a matte powder bronzer and I feel like every one that I try ends up looking too orange on me.  I swatched a bunch at Ulta today and couldn't find one that I liked enough to buy.  Help?

Have you tried any contour powders? The Kevyn Aucoin contour powders are really nice but not heavy looking. I also like my Charlotte Tillbury bronzer. I don’t find it to be orangy at all but it’s not completely matte.

The Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer is a good drugstore option too but you probably won’t be able to swatch it in stores.

TheBalm Balm Desert. It’s a rosy brown. Works as a blush and bronzer.

This. Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder is more of a gray tone which I think looks more natural/ not orangey

I have tried to find a sub for Hoola and I can’t. It’s the best bronzer.

IT’s most beautiful you face palette also has a great bronzer

There’s a bronzer in my LE Lorac POTC blush palette that I really like but that doesn’t help you.

I don't know what your skintone is, but the Smashbox Cali Contour palette is awesome and has a great color for contour and bronzer for fair/light skin. It also has a blush and 2 highlights, which are also pretty.

I also like Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer.

I wish that I could wear this bronzer as I like the color. The smell is so overwhelming and gave me a migraine, even hours after applying it.  I wore mine exactly once!

I hate the smell too. I left mine open in a drawer for like a week and it mostly faded so I could use it. I don’t think I’d repurchase I much prefer the Kevyn Aucoin contours. Now that I think of it Nars Laguna is a good one too.

What about Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer? I've went through two of them already and am on my third. It's my holy grail for sure.

Otherwise I'd recommend looking at some youtube videos where they're swatched so you can compare and find the least orange. Emilynoel83 is usually very good.

I’m very fair and can wear both Hoola Lite and PF Butter Bronzer without having to concentrate on how much is getting on my skin.
