I’m on the hunt for a light coverage foundation that is suitable for “mature” skin. My skin type leans toward oily/combo but is pretty normal these days, thanks to single handedly supporting the Drunk Elephant empire. 🤣
I’d love something that will even out my skin tone and blur some fine lines a bit. I wore It’s CC cream for years but it seems to just sit on my skin now. I prefer satin/matte finish though a little bit of dewy is okay.
I’m intrigued by Glossier’s Skin Tint, MAC Skin and Body, and Estée Lauder’s Double Wear Light. Do any of y’all have experience with any of these? I’ve tested Perricone’s No Makeup Makeup and First Aid Beauty’s skin tint and like different things about both of them but neither are exactly right.

Shiseido Perfect Hydrating BB Cream. I'm 50 and it's been my top one. I too used to love the It's Cosmetics CC cream and it isn't working well for me but the Shiseido in light is fab for me (I get the medium as well to mix it in during summer - I'm rarely very tan anyway).
I really like Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. It's more like a tinted moisturizer, but I feel like I get enough coverage to even out my skin tone and cover redness that I get in my cheeks. My skin is mostly normal that can lean oily sometimes so I usually set my T-zone with powder when I use it. I do enjoy the IT CC cream, but it's no longer my HG like it used to be. The complexion rescue is very different from the IT CC and doesn't seem to settle into my lines like the CC cream does. I'm 49 and my lovely hormones leave my skin type different on a daily basis so I go back and forth between a few different foundations.
Glossier skin tint is great. Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer I also like. Recently tried the Milk sunshine tint which has been compared to the glossier...I hated it - the applicator is difficult to use and I didn’t like the coverage.
I have been eyeing this one Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue.
I also eyeing the Milk brand but I have heard such mixed reviews.
Foundation has been a challenge for me. I think it makes me look older than I am and seem to emphasize my fine lines. Though I like how it evens everything out.

This is exactly where I am! I need a little something to even out the redness in my cheeks and smooth out some pores but I definitely don't need anything to call more attention to my smile lines.
I was in the same situation. I used the IT cream and recently didn’t like it. I just got the Dr Jart BB cream and have been using it for a couple weeks. I LOVE it! Highly recommend it.
I’m using the Dr Jart Tigergrass CC cream and it’s really nice. It’s slightly green to cover redness but the green fades once applied. Light coverage and dewy finish. I’d say it does a good job of blurring fine lines too.
I recently started using NARS pure radiance Tinted Moisturizer. It’s so sheer, light but just enough to even out my skin tone. I have used IT CC cream and PÜR tinted before this and like this much better. It’s much lighter than IT CC cream, but feels better than the PÜR.
