i have dark auburn hair (it's gotten so much darker and brown-ish as i get older, sob) but blonde brows. i've honestly not done much to my brows in the past beyond a good wax and general upkeep/shaping. last year sometime i got a sample of benefit's gimme brow in the lightest color and it works fine, but saw the new anastasia brow gel and wanted to try that (mini only 9 bucks at sephora!). wondering if i should try the lightest red or stick with blonde? what do you all do?
Is the ABH gel a new color? I'm confused by the insta post I saw last night. Back in the day- 5 years ago or so, ABH had a great strawburn shade that they discontinued. Before I started bleaching my hair, I used that because all the other reds were too hella dark.

robinsbff - I used ABH’s auburn in the dipbrow and their powder in auburn. It cosmetics’s auburn brow gel is a little lighter and I like it when I have my hair on the more warmer spectrum of red. Right now I’m in the red-violet so I use a powder that’s darker and redder.

Have you tried their Caramel shade? It's what I use, because no other color is close to right for my brow color. It's proven to me that I'm in the dark strawberry blonde category.

No. I've looked at it in store, but it didn't look coppery enough. I still have the strawburn powder, which might be gross to some since it's like 4/5 years old, but whatevs.

I'm with you on that. It's a powder, you're fine.
I just tried the dipbrow gel today and it is a little darker than my brows and, to me, looks a little more brown than I was expecting. It's hard to find a good in-between shade when your coloring isn't quite what the companies market to.
I;ve been using ABH Dipbrow pomade in Caramel since I dyed my hair red...I still think it is a little too dark, but I guess I am okay with a strong brow. lol
The Dipbrow gel in Auburn looks much more red, if anyone wants to try that. I was watching a video on the ABH website and she was saying you can pair the pomade or, especially, Brow Wiz to get color on the skin with the Dipbrow gel on the hairs to sort of blend shades together or warm it up. Of course it looks great in the videos.
I like the ABH tinted brow gels in Caramel (for a subtle look when I'm not wearing makeup but don't want everyone asking if I feel ok) and Brunette (when I'm wearing makeup, but I use a light hand with the brunette). My hair is most definitely not strawberry blonde.
My brows are more coppery blonde-ish brown than my hair and the reds are too one-dimensional and look too fake on me next to my natural hair color.
