What are you planning today?
I’m still recovering from my 50k. I’m meeting some people for a relatively short “long run.” I’m aiming for 8-10 miles, depending on how I feel. Then I have an end-of-season party for my running group this afternoon.
I need to get a few miles in this morning (probably 4 depending on how my hips/lungs feel) but I'm waiting for it to warm up a little bit. I'm a total weenie when it comes to cold!
I got a good. 8l5 hours of sleep tonight. I am up and going for a gravel ride later. I was supposed to meet up with at teammate, but I don't think that's going to happen (long story) I'm not sure what I'm going later--it depends on when we finish our ride. The last few weekends it's been raining overnight, so I haven't started to ride til around 11 am waiting for the roads/gravel to dry or at least not be soaked. It kills the entire afternoon. I prefer to start around 9 or 10.
I tried to run a long run but when I had too many plans for the day on my mind and I’m not on a training plan, it turned into a walk/run and only 2 miles.
After some family time I took the big kids skiing for almost 8 hours though. They did a double black diamond 3 times!
