Week was OK. Vacation took a lot out of me - more than I thought. I could barely move on Monday. Got great workouts in Tues, Wed, and Thurs, but too much running around prevented any workout yesterday. I’m heading to the gym this morning.
Food was decent until Thursday when I ate my feelings in pasta. But very little mindless and unhealthy snacking, so stilla win.
Next week should be more “normal” - good workouts and hopefully good food.
Good news was that I didn’t gain any weight on our trip, which was shocking...
Food: Better than it has been! Workouts: CX WORKS, a speedwork treadmill run, 2 5k’s, an 8 miler that could have been longer but I needed to get home.

Food: This time I’m going to stay closer to my calories. I tend to eat More fat than my macros allow, too.
Workouts: trail 5k today Tues strength Wed speedwork Thurs group run Friday? Sat: lots of miles Sun strength
Upcoming challenges: My shins hurt a little. I’m undecided about a trail 50k at the end of the month that I haven’t properly trained for but want to try and see how it goes.

1. Recap of the week
Food: Food is going well. I'm down a few more pounds today. I'm going to go into my race a little overweight but not too bad!!
Workouts: I did all my workouts, but my bike ride Saturday was slow. I'm a bit nervous considering a looked ahead a couple weeks and saw the day my taper is supposed to begin for my 70.3.

Non Scale Victories, Celebrations ( doesn't have to be fitness related)
Since it's spring break, not one woman other than me showed up for the ride yesterday, and only two guys. Since I can't keep up with them, I rode by myself on the road from start to finish. I can't really believe I did that and am proud of myself. Similarly I'm going to a lake to swim. No one is training so I found a friend who isn't training and we're going dammit!! 2. Plan for the Following Week

campermom, thank you! I feel so unprepared even though I've been working towards this. I did a 70.3 in October and they canceled the swim. As soon as that happened, I knew I would have to do another one so April 7 is it! It feels like it's tomorrow!!
