Week of March 18

Had my lining check for our FET, it was 6.5 which the US tech said is good but then my RN said it’s borderline for this point and they would see how my labs look for whether we push back the FET a few days. Transfer is tentatively next Fri, my period came a few days later than anticipated after getting off BCP so they ramped my estrace up quickly. I’ve been on estrace since last Wed. I hope it works out because my job is not flexible hour wise on M/W and I will need to call in if it lands on one of those days. Sipping Pom juice.

H deleted his FB last night because of a pregnancy announcement. It’s an old coworker and friend of mine that I have not chatted with much since we moved last Summer. I went to dinner with her before we moved and she mentioned she was trying to get pregnant but nothing had happened in the past year, she was starting to get checked out at her OBGYN. Something must have worked for her a few months after that because she is due in July. Happy for her but it did kinda punch me in the gut too.

In life updates, my H has been in AZ all week for work but is coming back tomorrow. It’s been weird being by myself but I had a few girls nights and might meander to an apartment event later.

EllenGriswold- the announcement they posted was weird? Or the fact they posted one at all is? Admittedly, I do not follow my REs FB, not sure if that’s normal or not. I guess strangers at an RE getting pregnant bothers me less than people I know, plus it would show me the clinic works.

I get that. I just was sort of taken aback when the first thing on my timeline this morning was a pregnancy announcement and saw it came from the RE.

I had to do a second lupron injection this am and went into work. I immediately got called to do something where I was in a super warm room. I am pretty sure I had some sort of hot flash bc I got super red and felt light headed. I left and am now I am at home. I really need the rest before retrieval tomorrow. I feel so bloated and sore. Doctor said this morning to expect 10 eggs. Feeling a little defeated bc I thought I would get more.

vmars- rest up and 10 is a great number. Stimming is so rough.

My estrogen level was good, so FET still planned for a week from today, yay!

vmars, sorry about the reaction after the lupron - no fun! And 10 is still a great number, don’t psych yourself out yet! FX for a great retrieval!

ER was today...I got 13 eggs. We are fertilizing with ICSI so hoping tomorrow is also good news. Everything went well except for placing the IV. They had to do it like 4x and the anesthesiologist ended up doing it for me. No fun. I feel pretty crampy and sore, but otherwise ok. My doctor had the same last name as me lol, even spelled the same way which is rare. Let the hunger games begin.
