I was out of town last weekend for a family St. Patrick's Day parade and this Friday, I am out of town for a professional conference. Makes it harder to eat healthy (especially with St. Pat's Day the Baileys and someone made some wonderful Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes)
Any AWs/breakthroughs/achievements we should know about? I finished the 8 week Orange Theory Transformation Challenge this past week. If I wrote down the weights correctly, I am down 11 pounds! Woo hoo! Based on the mid points, I will not be in the top 3 for my gym (top 3 men and women get cash prizes) but I am thrilled. I hope my team wins.

What event are you training for? Date? I’m not really training for anything but have some half marathons and a half ironman relay swim on the spring schedule.
What does your training look like this week? Mon - body pump class Tues - 1.5 mile walk with dog Wed - hopefully a walk with the dog and maybe a quick video Thurs - maybe a run? Fri - maybe a run or bike at the gym? Sat - DD’s 2nd birthday party which will be its own workout lol Sun - weather is looking nice so hoping for a nice long bike ride
Any vents, whines, requests for hairpats? Post 'em here: I’m feeling really and unsure of what to do at the moment. Its been a shitty month and last week just sucked with our dog’s passing. And then a week of visitors and a broken water heater. I’m looking forward to starting back next week to get my groove back.
Any AWs/breakthroughs/achievements we should know about? I started taking my huge golden retriever for walks over the weekend. So hoping to log another 1-2 miles of walking into my schedule and an upper body workout. I’m hoping maybe I can get him into running shape and get him running a bit this spring.

Any vents, whines, requests for hairpats? Post 'em here: I'm TIIIIRED. My legs are just tired. I didn't really hit my paces yesterday for my intervals and I think it was because of leg fatigue. I'm dreading this 10 mile tempo run tomorrow. It's going to be rough.
Any AWs/breakthroughs/achievements we should know about? My kids wrapped up their competition on Saturday and I'm so glad to be done. The robot performed. They came in 8 out of 12 which isn't great. But c'est la vie. We did the best we could, they had fun and learned a few things so that's all I can ask for. I won't be doing it again next year!

Any vents, whines, requests for hairpats? Post 'em here: A giant blister made it's appearance this past week. PSA when your dogs chew up and eat your SNB or glide - Coconut oil also works in a pinch! 9 days until my massage and 4 until taper.
Any AWs/breakthroughs/achievements we should know about? I had one of those runs on Monday that really restored my mental well being and reminded me why I love to run. The roads were open, it was light out and warmish. I've been embracing over the last 3 weeks or so that I am running my marathon for fun and whatever will be will be. It's been quite freeing.
Also not H&F but we had flooding over the past weekend and basically the river behind us was in our backyard. Somehow our basement stayed dry and that has been a huge relief.
Bonus question: Happy Vernal Equinox tomorrow! What's your favorite thing about Spring? Birds coming back, flowers blooming, being able to get drunk on my patio, more daylight and being able to free my bike from the garage!

What does your training look like this week? Mon: crosstraining/core
Tues: 5.5 miles
Wed: 5 mile tempo run (except I didn't read the tempo part, so I just ran 5 miles normally. Whomp whomp).
Thurs: 3 miles/strength
Fri: crosstraining/core
Sat: 13 miles
Sun: 3 miles/strength
Any vents, whines, requests for hairpats? Post 'em here: I misread today's run and didn't do it quite like I was supposed to. This is due to the fact that every night this week I've an after work hours work event, so I've had to get up extra early to get all my training in. I'm dying. I'm tired, my head hurts, I'm furiously trying to keep up. I know it's just one week and it's not even a hard week, really, but it's killing me.
Any AWs/breakthroughs/achievements we should know about? My outdoor runs last week were pretty amazing. I've picked up my pace ever so slightly on hills, which is a nice feeling.

What does your training look like this week? M- unintentional rest. H fell asleep on the couch before we even got the kids fed and then I nearly fell asleep snuggling with Sizzli after I read his bedtime story. T - 1 trainer W - ran this am. weights and half hour trainer? Taxes tonight, so might not get a workout in. Th - 2ish hours on trainer. F - rest? Sa - RIDE OUTSIDE. Lots. Su - ride a little.
Any vents, whines, requests for hairpats? Post 'em here: I finally have a whole day no kids to go for a long ass ride in the great outdoors....and currently the forecast is for 22 mph winds with 40 mph gusts. COME ON.
Any AWs/breakthroughs/achievements we should know about? An hour trainer ride now feels like a nice short ride when it used to be my limit I could stand indoors so that's.....cool?

What does your training look like this week? Monday - weights and 30 minute run Tuesday - dentist, so I ended up not doing anything Wednesday - weights and 1500 swim Thursday - yoga and 30 minute run Friday - weights and 1500 swim Saturday - 7 mile run Sunday - rest day
Any vents, whines, requests for hairpats? Post 'em here: I had a horrible time at the dentist yesterday. I was just getting a cleaning, but my mouth feels terrible today and I swallowed so much ick it upset my stomach
Any AWs/breakthroughs/achievements we should know about? My long run last week (6 miles) went really well, and getting back to lifting has felt great, although I've lost a lot of strength since last time from my hip injury.

What event are you training for? Date? Well really a half in May but I’m the poster who doesn’t know what’s the hell she wants and may or may not do a 50k next weekend. But I’m grossly undertrained since my first (well prepared) 50k in mid January.
What does your training look like this week? I was supposed to run a lot. I hit the snooze button instead. I did weights one day! Saturday I’m aiming for 15. If I can do it, I’ll sign up. If I quit, the 50k is off the table.

Any AWs/breakthroughs/achievements we should know about? IM LOSING WEIGHT! Hallelujah. From May till Feb I gained 24 lbs due to SSRIs. I am off them now and have lost 8.2 so far.
