Share 'em here, whatever is great in your life (rave) and/or whatever is rant-worthy. Product reviews, awesome/not so awesome life events, whatever ...
Raves:
Obviously, our house in OH is finally going to close and we'll be rid of the extra house payment.
I have a rave I never thought I'd post. I bought a Nook (I KNOW) and I love it. Sure, I like paper books, and I can't imagine, honestly, buying a ton of nook books, but it's great to keep in my purse and have on hand while I'm waiting for things.
Nathure's Path Flax Plus cereal in the bio-bag (or whatever the heck they call the cereal without boxes these days. It's like Life Cereal but with actual healthy ingredients. Love it.
Rants: Related to my local area, I did a long OWS in Folsom Lake yesterday and the water was disgusting. Like cloudy and icky and tasted like algae. Plus, it was choppy so I ended up drinking some about every third breath. We really need to work on improving our lake water quality.

Rant: I want to buy a new Swiffer WetJet (my old one is old and the nozzle is clogged) and I went to print a coupon from their website AND THEY ARE MAILING IT INSTEAD. I wanted instant gratification. Instead, I get to limp along with a crappy Swiffer until I get my coupon because I am too cheap to pay full price for it.
Rave: My boss bought me lunch yesterday from Olive Garden for my one year anniversary and he let me have all the breadsticks. Because I'm pregnant and I complained last time about only getting 2.
Rant: My stock order for FB just won't fill and I'm kind of getting annoyed by it. The 1% need to start working a little bit faster to keep things moving over there.
Rave: We have a nest of gorgeous cardinals living in the tree in our back yard. I think H is going to help me put up a bird feeder for them.
DOn't get a swiffer, those things are expensive and full of chemicals. Just get one of those mops that has a spray handle that you can fill with your own cleaners. It will save you lots of money and waste...I hate swiffer it seems so wasteful. ;D
I am frustrated that I am still not pregnant. I am really upset that my daughter is going to be so much older than any future siblings, it's not what we wanted at all. It's almost my due date for my miscarriage and I thought by now I would be pregnant so at least on the anniversary I would feel hopeful/happy. Nope...still not pregnant and feeling depressed and horrible and still carrying a lot of guilt over the fact that my baby died and I carried it for over a month not knowing at all. We got pregnant the first try with my daughter and it's been almost a year of trying for another. I'm starting to be a bitter betty and crying when I hear about other people getting pregnant and not wanting to hold babies because i know I will just sob.

Rant: I'm stuck in the house all day waiting for 3 deliveries. I really want to go out since it's so gorgeous here today and I'm off from work.
Rave: The deliveries are awesome and they can't get here soon enough. One is a great travel/hand bag that I ordered yesterday. Two is a new elliptical machine and the third is a dozen steamed Maryland Blue Crabs.

Fuzzy, link me, I have been looking for one of those! (I settle for the stupid Swiffer because it's convenient and H can actually use it -- not that he does lol.) And I'll send you lots of baby dust.

I'm not Fuzzy. But I have this one: www.libman.com/freedom-mop.aspx (caution, sound/video that auto-opens, in case you're at work) and I love it. It comes with a bunch of microfiber pads and does a great job. I've been using leftover swiffer juice in it, but when I run out, I love that you can just use whatever.
Rave: My H is awesome. I got a Kindle Fire for Mother's Day (I didn't care if it was a nook or kindle), he made me breakfast, got my car washed and filled up my tank. Because I've been so busy at work we haven't seen each other much, and he took me out last night to my favorite local sports bar. We had such a great time.
And the Kindle Fire is awesome. I love it. I love not having to go to the library or book store to get a book, it's reading on demand! I love that it's back lit so I can read in bed for a little while the H sleeps.
Rant: I'm SO over working. I need some time off and I probably won't get it until July.
Rant: I'm not sure what kind of cupcake wrappers I bought, but they were the pricier fancy kind from AC Moore and for whatever reason all my cupcakes just pulled away from the side of the wrapper and now I have to remake them for DSs party tomorrow.
Rave: I want to marry my Roomba, because I love it THAT much. It was a total splurge for the house and H bought it as a "housewarming" gift for me despite the fact that everyone I knew who had one had lukewarm reviews. They must have the older models because the newest generation is practically like having a live in cleaning lady that does all my sweeping and vacuuming. Considering that (at the moment) my floor is always littered with crumbs, tile set and now, icing and cake powder/dust...it is sooooo nice just pushing a button and having the floor looking miraculously clean again. Plus it does the rest of my house which pretty much has eliminated vacuuming altogether.

Oh I hope you love your Nook. I think mine is one of my most favorite things I own . I thought I would still want to read paper books, but it it so much more comfortable to read that I haven't bought one since.
rants: Im SO SICK of Old People that can't balance their bank accounts just because they are lazy! I work at a bank, and I've had 3 people in the last hour that are 70+ come see me because they can't keep their bank account straight. Its not that they are old, its that they are too lazy to write stuff down. They all come and see me at least once a week.. my nerves are getting shorter.
