I’m up early because I’m running a 10k this morning. I want to practice running and pacing a shorter race, because I have two more coming up. My last 10k was in April 2018. All I’ve run since then has been a 10-mile, marathon, and a 50k, and the 10-mile was way back in November. I don’t know if my legs will remember what to do!
I am up way too early for the first charity/fun ride of the year. I'll probably do the 45 mile option instead of the metric. All of the routes are extremely hilly. It's a St. Patrick's themed ride as the host cycling club is sponsored by an Irish Bar/Restaurant. The after party is always a lot of fun with the community, businesses, and other restaurants in the area getting involved. Of course, I'm running on 5 hours of sleep (no reason, just a bad night's sleep). Ugh!
I’m up after a crazy weekend with my podcast family. I did my best ghosting ever last night and went to bed at a reasonable time lol. I’m meeting a couple people who need to get on the road for breakfast.
Good morning! I am heading out for a " hill workout" which is actually going to be running to a nearby bridge and going back and forth over it. Then I am volunteering at the finish line for a 20 mile and half marathon race with my running club.

I’m up, getting ready for 13. It’s sunny, it’s warming up as I type this, and there will NO HILLS! For now, though, I’m enjoying coffe with my H. Then I have a nail appointment and college basketball on tap for the rest of the day.
Yesterday was my test for the 50k I hadn’t decided on yet. I wanted to hit 15 and feel great. I got to 12.6, felt awesome, and stopped to stretch. When we got started again, I had terrible pain in my knee, on the side. This has been happening since mid Feb whenever I run more than 4 miles.
I had to cut through a field and quit. It still hurts.
Lifted with my trainer, then worked on handstands. Probably going to do a run later because the weather is just sooooo nice but I have to squeeze it in amidst laundry and a bunch of other chores.

Rest day today. Tomorrow we sign DH up for the gym. He’s taking that as a free for all tonight, including chocolate cake and margaritas. I’m going to regret that in the morning lol.
