I saw a couple of you recommended him for building up the ole glute muscles. I am going to Puerto Rico in 10 weeks and want to change up my routine a bit in anticipation of wearing a bikini all day. This might be exactly what I am looking for. I normally do Body Pump and HIIT classes for my weight lifting. I am comfortable working out on my own as well. I just like group classes for the social aspect.
But $30 a month is a pretty steep price for just some workouts. Is it worth it? Anyone subscribe to his plan?
I've incorporated some of the exercises he recommends into my program that I wasn't doing before, mainly hip thrusts and different things using a band. I do have the Strong Curves book that I bought many years ago. I just got it out and looked through it and there's really nothing earth shattering in there, but it does have good pictures of examples of good and bad form. I wouldn't pay $30 per month, you can get an idea of what he recommends by googling him and watching some of his YT videos.
Is it Brett Contreras? WORTH IT. (though you could also follow him on Instagram is you're able to build your own workouts. He posts a ton of free information.)
Or maybe I should just buy his Strong Curves book? That would be a cheaper option. Anyone follow that program?
I am on week 4 of Strong Curves and I love it so far! I can't wait to get to week 5 and try some new stuff though! I'm finding it quite a bit better than New Rules of Lifting for Women.

Do you need gym equipment to be able to follow? I only have dumbbells at home but this is the kind of program I’m looking for.

I do it at the gym, but I believe you could do most of it at home with weights and bands. Lat pull down is probably the most difficult thing on there to find a replacement for so far.
