I want to organize our pantry and put things in food storage containers but I cannot bring myself to shell out the money for OXO. Does anyone have a good dupe recommendation? TIA
I haven't found a good dupe but waited for a Container Store sale and was happy with the price. We have a very small pantry though and it makes the space much more functional.

If it helps Oxo was developed by a guy whose wife had tremendously debilitating arthritis. Sometimes I use that to justify my purchases but they really are the best. I've had some pieces for 20+ years. (Ialso use that to justify buying more.)
I bought a bunch of Click Clacks 20 years ago, and still use them today. I got them at one of the outlet malls in TX, and am not sure if they are still sold, but they’re great.
Oh ya, mine has them all the time. They don't have a lot at any given time but if you are ok to just get a few at a time that might be a good way to go.
The lid on one of mine jammed, so I contacted them and was like I got this 10 years ago probably at my shower in the Green Bay Area, and they were like a replacement is on its way.
I woulda paid for it, so was a win for me!
I’ve had so many other containers come and go, but these have stuck around.

No help on a dupe. I bought the OXO ones but used $5/$10 off coupons at Bed Bath and Beyond to expanded my collection slowly as I needed pieces. I love them so much and the have lasted me 6 years so far.
This. Also tjmaxx and marshals. They don't always match 100% (like some people of mine have curved edges on the top vs squared off) but I paid way less than retail on them.
I've bought all of my OXO at Marshalls/Homegoods/TJ Maxx/Burlington etc. I usually get 1-2 at a time for specific needs and I've expanded to a full pantry now. They also have a good deal on a large set at Costco. I prefer buying them individually because then I get the right size that I need.
My personal favorites are the large angled ones I have in the laundry room for pods and oxyclean.

I got all mine at Homegoods/TJMaxx etc and got a couple cereal ones at BBB with a coupon. They were a great price but it adds up! I couldn’t find any good alternatives.
Not really. I do have a few from IKEA that we keep GF items in so they don’t get mixed up with the regular stuff. I think they only carry these two sizes

I really like the OXO brand too but have a hard time bringing myself to spend that much.
These are not dupes but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like them. I kept putting off buying them because I thought they looked cheap but I am so glad I did. I wish they had more sizes though.

Just FYI, I bought the tall one to store cereal, I have to say I don't like it that much, because it's too tall but the base is too narrow, so it ends up falling over often. We don't put this in the pantry, we put it on the countertop with nothing around it
Looks like Container Store is doing 25% off kitchen stuff right now. If you join their rewards program, it's 15% off your first order. Not sure if you can stack those discounts or not.
eta: Damn, and ebates is 12% back. That actually seems like it would bring those containers to a pretty reasonable amount.
And since I'm clearly going down this rabbit hole...
I'm going to need some containers like this because our new kitchen is smaller and will need to be more orderly.
Tell me what you store in these containers. So far I have a decent list going that includes flour, sugar, various pastas, rice, oatmeal, and other grains.
isabel I'm addition to your list, I store baking soda (which I buy in bulk at Costco) in the small containers. We keep all of the open cracker bags together in a large bin. We have bins for chocolate chips, marshmallows, goldfish, dog food, tea, protein powder, laundry pods, oxyclean, candy, and trail mix.

Yeah ours from IKEA aren’t out most of the time - they live in the pantry. BIL is celiac so we keep some GF staples (flour, bisquik, the gum stuff, and pasta) on hand for his visits- wanted tonhave what is and isn’t safe clear. The stuff i have out daily is actually in stainless steel containers- the dog doesn’t bother them
isabel coffee - regular grounds for the coffee maker in a tall one, coarse grounds for the french press in a little one and extra whole beans in a medium one.
