What are you training for? Date? Local 5k 4/18, National Women's Half 5/5
Training schedule for the week? Monday - lift and spin Tuesday - yoga and 3 mile run Wednesday - lift and some kind of cardio Thursday - yoga and 3 mile run Friday - lift and hopefully swim Saturday - 9 mile run Sunday - rest day, maybe some yoga
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I've been gaining weight. But I think it's because I started doing Strong Curves and half marathon training a few weeks ago and my body is a bit confused.
Any AW's or brags? My pace for my long runs has been amazing! Last time I did a half my pace was 11:27, but I was also completely unprepared and untrained. But that was a pr. My training run this week my pace was 9:19!
Bonus: Did you do anything for April Fools Day? Any past AFD you would like to share? Nope! We're not really practical jokers
What are you training for? Date? Track/Velodrome racing starts this week. Occasional mountain bike race.
Training schedule for the week? Sunday: Trainer Ride Monday: Off-massage Tuesday: Track race Wed.: 2 hour road ride w/intervals Thursday: Recovery ride Friday: Off Sat.: MTB race if the weather is ok. Sunday: 3 hour ride TBD

What are you training for? Date? Pittsburgh Half Marathon 5/5, Chicago 10/13 (and maybe something else in between?)
Training schedule for the week? Monday: 4 miles Tuesday: 5.5 miles with intervals and core Wednesday: either rest or 4 miles Thursday: The opposite of Wednesday Friday: 4 miles and core Saturday: Big Work Event Sunday: 13 miles
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! This week is BUSY. My big yearly work event is on Saturday, which means my days are chaotic leading up to it with all the small details that need seen too. AND, its' a busy running week. And I clearly didn't communicate with my coach well b/c he switched the wrong running days. Whatever. I'm sure it bothers no one else that my calendar in my training app won't show all "green" for completing my runs on schedule, but it annoys me. lol.
Any AW's or brags? I'm getting slightly (very slightly) better at pacing and being able to run at prescribed paces for the right time/distance. Also, T-10 days until my vacation! Warm sandy beach, here I come!
Bonus: Did you do anything for April Fools Day? Any past AFD you would like to share? Nope, nothing. Neither my H nor I find AFD pranks especially funny, so we've but a moratorium on them in our household. However, that doesn't stop me from laughing at pranks other folks pull off.

Training schedule for the week? Mon - 7 mi, Tues - 10 mi tempo + 1 mi wu/cd, Wed - 8 mi, Thur - Rest, Fri - 6 x 1 mi, 1.5 mi wu/cd, Sat - 8 mi, Sun - 8 mi
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I have a busy few days ahead, work, kids activities, running, etc. I'm PTA vice president and the next few months are going to be very busy. I wish that more parents in our school were willing to help out. Many hands make light work, but it is usually just a few of us running all of the activities that the school enjoys.
Any AW's or brags? I did my last 10 mi ten mile tempo run today! That is the toughest thing for me. I'm happy it is done. I've been stalking Boston weather and so far it's looking decent. Let's hope it stays that way.
Bonus: Did you do anything for April Fools Day? Any past AFD you would like to share? Nothing really. I have a twin sister so I feel like my sister and i switched places for April Fools Day once. I think the teacher didn't catch on for a while, but our classmates tattled on us for some reason.

Training schedule for the week? M- Rest/Yoga T- 6 miles 3x1200 W- Rest TR - Lift F- 6 miles S- 12 miles S- 5 miles
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! So much, taper got me crazy. My right calf has an ongoing charlie horse that I've been trying to clear up. My to-do list before we leave is a million miles long and I have super stressful project at work that I am trying to wrap up as best as I can before I leave. I started checking the weather for Paris and there is a high of 65 on race day so now I'm over stressing about that. (vacation wise that sounds awesome.....but race day not so much)
Any AW's or brags? My sports massage was amazing last week outside of the therapist telling me I am a hot mess, lol. Well I should say I felt amazing afterword, during I wanted to cry and swear a lot.

Bonus: Did you do anything for April Fools Day? Any past AFD you would like to share? - I totally forgot it was April Fools Day, and I spent the day flying home. I typically don't do anything.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I need trail running shoes. Also I am very very tired today. I have never before in my life run 11 miles on any terrain, let alone hard trail miles. I was pretty much trudging by the end.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I am sore from a strength OT day because I went for the heavier weights.
Any AW's or brags? Not workout related, but I ran for office and the election was this past Tuesday. 7 people running for 3 spots on the Library Board of Trustees and I finished third so I won! It seems surreal.
Bonus: Did you do anything for April Fools Day? Any past AFD you would like to share? I am not so much a fan of April Fools Day, I feel like most pranks are less funny in general and more picking on someone. I was the butt of those type "jokes" in grade school so I try to avoid the day.
