1. TTC #2, cycle 2, CD 22, 5 dpo
2. Nope. Will probably wait until 11 or 12 dpo.
3. Buy new clothes. I've gained some weight recently and finally have accepted that my wardrobe needs more things that actually fit me.
4. Anyone ever done opks after the surge? Mine still stay pretty dark (not positive, just dark). Just wondered if that is normal. I need to start temping, I think. I have the thermometer, I just can't bring myself to actually do it.
1. Where are you at on this journey? (TTC#, month/cycle, CD, DPO) TTC#2, cycle 1 after 2nd loss, CD 4.
2. Any tests this week? No.
3. If someone handed you $100 and gave you the night off, what would you do? Normally I’d say dinner with H, but right now? I desperately need a mani/pedi with Starbucks.
4. Questions, randoms? I am seeing my OBGYN for the first time next Wednesday. I have an HSG on Monday so hopefully he’ll have the results when I go in Wednesday. My GP wants us to wait out this cycle and one more before we actually start trying again but I’m feeling like I want to try this cycle. I’m going to bring it up at my initial appointment.

4. Questions, randoms? Waiting to see my OB next week to get scheduled for a hysterscopy and laparscopy. Once that's done we'll move forward with transfer#2. I'm still mad that my RE was going to go through with transfer knowing I had fluid buildup.

For me the OPK's never work. You're always going to have some amount of LH in your system so they're not really accurate. The best way to know when you're ovulating is to be monitored through bloodwork and ultrasound.
1. Where are you at on this journey? TTC#3, month 3, CD25, 9DPO
2. Any tests this week? HCG tests
3. If someone handed you $100 and gave you the night off, what would you do? I think I'd take myself to a nice salon for a great haircut and some highlights.
4. Questions, randoms? Spring is here! I'm so ready for the nice weather.
murphybrown I'd definitely recommend starting to temp. I would get positive OPKs, but then took me 4 or 5 days to see an actual temperature shift from ovulation. And I find it can change from month to month. It can be a bit of a pain to figure out a time or system that works for you (I often wake up MOTN for one reason or another). I like it, and if you've already got the thermometer, give it a go. I use multiple apps to keep track. I like Fertility Friend, and I use the free app Flo.

I've heard people say that after an HSG you're extremely fertile because it clears the path for the egg. I'd be really tempted to try this month, too.

So one of the reasons I've not committed to doing it is because something (husband, dogs, etc) wakes me up at least once a week, if not more. I'm not sure how accurate my readings would be. I've been tempted to buy that ava bracelet thing, but the cost is insane. I guess next cycle I'll give temping a go. It would be nice to see what a chart looks like for me/if I ovulate.

Yes, I’ve heard this too. And after a loss, which in my case proved true since I got pregnant while still in my first loss cycle.
I’ll see what my OBGYN thinks. I see him on CD 11 and I don’t ovulate until around CD 17 usually so hopefully he’ll give me the green light.

1. Where are you at on this journey? (TTC#, month/cycle, CD, DPO) TTC #2, cycle 6, CD 15
2. Any tests this week? Been doing OPKs this week - peak was last night
3. If someone handed you $100 and gave you the night off, what would you do?
Definitely date night with DH. He’s been so crazy, but we had an anniversary worth celebrating last week and one coming up at the end of the month.
4. Questions, randoms? Was at REI yesterday and was disappointed. I have a heart defect, so I expected to talk about if things like clomid, IUI, and IVF are even an option (multiples are “catastrophic” for people with my condition). Instead, we talked about a hystoscopy and an ultrasound and SA for DH and didn’t really go beyond those steps. I was ushered into an exam room for the ultrasound and then ushered out, so I didn’t get a chance to loop back with the doctor about all my questions. But I did get blood work and am waiting for the results today plus maybe some progesterone. But if everything is normal, I don’t know if there even is a next step for me.

Yuck. What a rough day! I'd say that is an average RE appointment, but you are not an average patient. Good luck, I hope your RE spends a lot more time addressing your concerns at your follow up.
chocolatelove I’m sorry your appointment was so rough. My SIL has heart issues and had to terminate a pregnancy of multiples.
I was having a great weekend until I went to the mall yesterday on what was apparently “all pregnant women go to the mall” day. They were everywhere and it was hard.
I had my saline sonogram today. Apparently my OBGYN didn’t want my tubes looked at since I’ve now gotten pregnant 3 times so that’s not the issue but the doctor got a good look at everything else and said that there’s no scarring or other things that look concerning so that is good to hear. Full results are being sent to the OBGYN so I should get those Wednesday. And then I guess he’ll probably order bloodwork and we’ll go from there. At least the ball is rolling now.
