What are you training for? Date? Boston Marathon: MONDAY!, Parkway Classic - 4/28
Training schedule for the week? Mon - 6 mi, Tues - 5 mi, Wed - 6 mi, Thur - Rest, Fri - 6 mi, Sat - 3 mi, Sun - Rest, Mon - RACE DAY
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! A little concerned about the weather, rain and some wind high of 51, but it looks way better than last year and I know it will be nothing like the year I ran (sunny and upper 60s). I'm hopeful that the wind will hold off and the rain will be intermittent. I don't mind rain as long as it's not drenching.
Any AW's or brags? NRR My alma mater, UVA, won the NCAA Basketball National Championship last night!!! They made history last year because they were the first 1 seed to lose to a 16 seed. It hurt so bad. But to see them win this year was so amazing!! What redemption.
Bonus question: Easter is here! What is your favorite Easter Candy? Cadbury mini eggs or Peanut butter M&M shaped like an egg. Omg there are so many good ones to choose from. Easter candy is the best.
Double bonus: What did/will you do for Spring break? Boston first then we're spending a night in Burlington, VT and then staying in Montreal for 3 nights.

Any AW's or brags? I got third in my first mountain bike race in a couple of years this weekend.
Bonus question: Easter is here! What is your favorite Easter Candy? Growing up my mom would buy butter creams & chocolate bunnies from a local candy shop. They were amazing, and I can still taste them. I need to go by there the next time I'm in my hometown. They are still in business!
Double bonus: What did/will you do for Spring break? Work, we don't get spring break. I did take a couple of hours off one day last week to go for a ride on a gorgeous afternoon.
Mon - 2 miles easy Tues - Run to/from CrossFit (1.5 each way) Wed - 4-6 easy trail miles Thurs - rest Fri - undecided Sat - CrossFit Sun - 4 mile run w/DS2
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! My 10k race this past Sunday got cancelled by heavy thunderstorms Also I rolled an ankle jumping off something last week and every once in a while it hurts a bit, so I've been taking it a bit easy hoping nothing is really injured.
Any AW's or brags?
Bonus question: Easter is here! What is your favorite Easter Candy? OMG I love candy way too much but this year I'm trying to avoid buying many many bags of it. Usually I go for Robin Eggs, but really I'll eat any of the Cadbury or other chocolate eggs (crunch, peanut butter, milk chocolate, dark chocolate...). Going to hold off until after Easter, at which point I'll try to buy some discount chocolate if there's any left.
Double bonus: What did/will you do for Spring break? I took DD to NYC for a long weekend to see my best friend from childhood. It was fun!
What are you training for? Date? 5k Sunday, national women's half 5/5
Training schedule for the week? Monday - weights and spin Tuesday - yoga and 3 mile run Wednesday - weights and swim Thursday - yoga and 3 mile run Friday - weights and swim Saturday - perhaps a 10k I just found out about, if not 7 miles on my own Sunday - 5k with some friends
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! It's getting warmer out, which means my running pace is getting slower while I'm adapting
Any AW's or brags? My long run pace last weekend was faster than my target half pace, but I couldn't have gone 4 more miles at that pace. But the race course is thankfully much flatter!
Bonus question: Easter is here! What is your favorite Easter Candy? Peeps! Especially toasted over a fire and made into smores
Double bonus: What did/will you do for Spring break? This weekend we're going to Richmond to the Nascar race with my parents (and possibly run a 10k and hit kings dominion). Later next week we're going to to my IL's for Easter, which I'm actually excited about because we're going to the Biltmore

What are you training for? Date? Paris Marathon 4/14
Training schedule for the week? M - 6 miles T- rest/yoga W - 5 miles or rest or yoga Tr - Travel/ rest/ walking F- Versailles bike tour S- 2-3 miles/ too much walking S- Race!
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I'm going on week 3 of my weird/ painful calf charlie horse. I'm at a loss at what else to do. I've been foam rolling, stretching and having H massage it. It's more painful when I'm walking around rather than running but I would feel so much better if it would go away.
Any AW's or brags? I leave for Paris tomorrow!
Bonus question: Easter is here! What is your favorite Easter Candy? Starburst jelly beans.
Double bonus: What did/will you do for Spring break? Work, I don't get a set time off for spring break.
What are you training for? Date? 1/2 marathon April 28th, Sprint Tri June 9th
Training schedule for the week? Monday: 3 miles, Tuesday: Orange Theory, Wednesday: 5 miles pace, Thursday: Orange Theory, Saturday: 11 miles
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I feel like I should be running faster in Orange Theory than I am (especially with 1/2 marathon training going on). However, I always seem (and have in the past) to have a really high heart rate when running so I am in the "red" zone even if I don't feel like it. I am trying to be patient and stay a bit slower to keep my heart rate closer to orange before pushing faster. I know staying slower and in the right zone is better and will make me fitter eventually, but annoying nonetheless.
Any AW's or brags? It's my birthday and a restaurant nearby is having a sale on their chocolate cake today so I got a piece (Portillo's for Chicago peeps). No healthy eating today
Bonus question: Easter is here! What is your favorite Easter Candy? Cabury Cream Eggs. Hands down. Yummy.
Double bonus: What did/will you do for Spring break? Nothing special for me, although my daughter (5) went to my in laws for the week. She had a great time but my in laws are tired as she has a ton of energy.
