I’m a little early on this one but I’m up getting ready for the Paris Marathon! I guess this is really happening!! I’m nervous and excited but feeling ready and calm all at the same time.
I’m up and lounging with my little munchkin and DH. I’m glad it’s a rest day because I’m sore. Time for coffee then meeting friends for brunch in a couple hours.
We have some strong storms possibly rolling through in a while. There have been some tornado warnings south of me overnight. I am going to ride the trainer and take my car for an oil change. My cycling club has our annual meeting tonight, so I'll be there to help.
Rest day again, not feeling sick but taking it easy anyway. Busy day with a playdate, a public park eggstravaganza (friends call this Egg Hunt Hunger Games), then the big kids have their 3rd running race (5 race series).
Im in Chapel Hill visiting my college best friend. I was supposed to be riding 50-80 miles with her and her husband and our other bff. But Sizzli started throwing up last night and apparently we have our...third stomach bug of the past 6 months. (4th? I've lost count. Which is fucking absurd.). I'm so so disappointed. And mad. And just...fuck man. And now we get to drive 5 hours with a sad little boy holding a puke bucket who keeps trying to tell me he's hungry when he can't even hold down water.

I finished and am really happy with how things went, such a cool race and overall experience. It wasn’t my best time and it wasn’t my worst. I’m excited to recover and enjoy the rest of vacation!

I’m supposed to do 9 miles today but the rain doesn’t look like it will let up anytime soon. May have to do it tomorrow, which sucks because mentally I was ready to get up this morning and get it done. I’ll try to get some strength done today.
ETA: the rain cleared up and I went out and did it. Glad to have it done today and not tomorrow.

I'm so sorry, that sucks. I hope it's over quickly.

He's been keeping down water since 8 am or so so I think we're in the clear vomit wise. Fever though. OMFG I WAS LITERALLY TYPING THIS AND HE THREW UP.
Just finished my 10k in 45:52, which I’m happy with. My legs were heavy from bike intervals yesterday. Got in a nice 2 mile warm up for 8.2 miles for the day.
I did a 5k this morning and then ran back to my Aunts house where I parked my car. She dropped me off at the race. So, 5k and then 1.9 back to the house! My race went well; I am very happy.

I hope he feels better!!!
And also you were like down the street from me. I wish I knew you were close-ish.
I ran a half marathon this morning. It sucked. It was so humid and I was so undertrained but still managed under 2:20.
