What are you training for? Date? Pittsburgh Marathon 05/05
What does training look like this week? Umm. IDK. I think I'll aim for my LR of 16 on Sunday. It is Easter, but I don't think I'll have 2.5 hours to spare until then.
Any vents/whines/requests for alcohol and hairpats? I'm busy and my running has SUCKED, but I already have the wine tonight so whatever.

According to my facebook memories apparently all I do in April is run marathons, go to lacrosse games, and cheer on the CAPS. This year that marathon is early May, but apparently life is predictable, haha.

What does training look like this week? TAPER!!! Mon - 1800 swim, Tues: 20 mile ride and 15’ brick run, Wed: 90 min run, Thurs: 3k swim, Fri: 45 min run with hill repeats, Sat: 2 hour ride, 30’ Brick, Sun: Rest

M- rest; Tu- 2800yd swim with stretch cord prehab; W- 7mi run and core; Th- Zwift ride/33mi ride and 4mi/25min run brick (weather dependent because this weekend is going to be WET); F- IM distance swim (wetsuit dress rehearsal edition); Sa- 10mi run; Su- whatever I didn't do Thursday.

Any AWs/Brags/awesomeness? I did three miles on the trails yesterday. It was hard but I pushed through and made it. I haven't done trail running since last August.

What does training look like this week? It looks crappy, lol.
Mon: Rest Tues: 3 mile run Wed: 6.5 miles with intervals Thur:3 miles Fri: 4.5 miles Sat: rest (why?!?! I actually have time to run this weekend!) Sun: 13 miles
Any vents/whines/requests for alcohol and hairpats? My only vent is this week schedule is sucky. I'm back from vacation and exhausted today, and I have the hardest workout of the week tonight. Then, I have a 3 day weekend, so I could do ALL the running, and my coach scheduled me a rest day on saturday. I'll likely crosstrain.
Any AWs/Brags/awesomeness? Non H&F: I feel recharged from my beach vacation. it was just what I need, just when I needed it.

What does training look like this week? M - accidental rest day, I was just so tired T - accidental rest day (got no sleep!) W - long trail run, just did nearly 10 T - rest day F - If I'm lucky I'll fit in a couple of miles S - stroller run S - maybe run with the kids
Any vents/whines/requests for alcohol and hairpats? I'm so so tired right now (after running 10 miles). And I'm pretty sure I'm way undertrained for my races, the past couple of weeks it's not been going so well. I rolled my ankle a couple of weeks ago so took it easy just in case, then I got a stomach bug, then I lost a bunch of sleep to work/kid things. I "ran" 10 miles on trails today, but the last 3 had significant chunks of walking. Which, like, it's fine, but not where I was hoping to be.
Any AWs/Brags/awesomeness? Liking my new trail shoes. Got the Altra Lone Peak 4 men's shoe, so far so good. Love how much space there is for my toes, plus it has better traction than a road shoe. It's taken a little getting used to a zero drop shoe, since my previous running shoes had kind of a large drop, but it's not too bad because my Crossfit shoes have a small drop so I've been doing more pose running in the past few years.

Well in Texas the flowers have been here for a while, but we planted wildflower seeds in a big part of our yard last fall and some of them grew! Mostly just the bluebonnets actually, which is weird, but it's nice to have flowers in the yard.
