You, my friend, are the inspirational one. You've been inspiring me ever since I met you in person 3 years ago in Charleston. I am so incredibly lucky that even though we live what, 10 hours apart? You have been my race partner in more races than you haven't over the past 3 years. You met the bullshit of the past year - all of the bullshit - with your trademark tenacity and bravery, and I couldn't be more proud of you for looking it all squarely in the face and telling it to go to hell, rather than pulling up the covers and giving up. I'm so glad you have an arsenal of people behind you who love you, support you, and listen to what you are telling them. I'm so glad you found your coach, your team, and your squad, and you found the joy in all of this again. More than that, I'm beyond thrilled that we get to walk (ok, swim, bike and run) this journey together all over again.

My coach laughed when I told him one of my goals was "To make my friend work her ass off to catch me on the run." You motivate the hell out of me to not only dare to dream of what I might be capable of, but you also fully believe in me that I can achieve them.

It is my absolute honor and pleasure to be there for you, because you are always there for me in exactly the same way.

I can't wait to see you!

And P.S. You really didn't have to beg me THAT hard to race with you in Annapolis. The chance to race with you AND potentially see hot Navy guys? Come on. Like that was even going to be a no.

I'll come in to brag they MiniMuffin and I got to hang out with @vtcupcake and emilyj. Beyond the fact that these two ladies are so wonderful (I know you're socks about that)

they were looking calm, cool and collected. I'm so excited for them to FSU on Saturday.
