I was supposed to run 5 miles with a friend at 6 am today, but I woke up not feeling great so I bailed. Hopefully I can get them done tomorrow instead.

I’m up, but it’s a rest day here. It’s really nice weather today, so I’m going to take a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood this morning. Then we are going outlet shopping this afternoon.

Plan A: meet a group to run at 5 AM to knock out another half (didn’t happen) Plan B: get to the park in our later run 9 miles solo and then finish up the rest with my 7:30 AM running through (not happening) Plan C: run 13.1 solo, but drive to a different part of the trail so at least it looks new. Thanks to a pretty strong podcast lineup, this is happening.
I did a 10k this morning so I’ve been up for a bit. It wasn’t too bad, but I think I’m breaking up with running until at least next fall. My heart just isn’t in it anymore and it absolutely shows in my times and training! Hope y’all don’t mind me lurking for the next however-long still until my running comes back to life! Ha and if you do, wellll.... tough.
Well its been down pouring all morning, i met a friend for breakfast, ran some errands, now waiting for it to really stop and ill try to get in my 14 (lol) miles.

I did a 25 mile bike ride with a friend. Trying to recruit some of my running friends to riding on the roads so it was a bit slower but she enjoyed it and we had fun.
I was up at 6:30 but didn't drag AJ and myself to the gym until closer to 11:30. I did an hour on the bike and he's in child care until I go get him...after I get myself a smoothie and drink it in peace
I had a terrible run turned walk yesterday. I tried deferring my half marathon in 2 weeks during the actual walk part. It wasn’t physical, I’m just in a funk. I came back and deferred.
Today I had a redemption Run but I’m still happy with my choice. I need a break.
I was! Race day— 4AM for an hour drive to the other side of town for a 5:30 transition check-in. Short pool swim, then 14 mile bike and finally a 3.1 run to a local brewery (the things I’ll do for a free beer!)
I have no idea how I did (no results posted yet), but I finished, so that’s just fine with me 😁
