Dear Weather - Could you stop raining just long enough for us to get, like, one softball game in? We're now looking at rescheduling the reschedules. DD1 enjoys softball, as do I, but I'm not looking forward to 5 games in 4 days this weekend. Thanks! Spring Sport Lover
Dear Contractor - I'm sorry your ex-wife made a mess of your online presence. Please let me help you. I'd like the work. Thanks! Marketer
Dear DD2 - I'm so excited to hear you do a reading at Mass next week! I know you're going to be amazing! Love, Mommy
One more...
Dear Softball League - I told you that I could not coach. I told you that I could not assistant coach. I said that I could help here and there if I don't have DD2 with me. Your response was the add me as an assistant coach - and I reminded you that I could not do that. Then you ask me to be a head coach... and I reminded you that I could not do that. Now you're emailing my husband, who NEVER EVEN SIGNED UP TO VOLUNTEER, asking him to coach the team on Monday night. I only provided his email address to get notifications about games and in case of emergency. WTF. Open your ears, take no for an answer, and leave us alone! Signed, This is literally the only season in the past 5 years that I have not coached something, so leave me alone!
HOLY SCHNIKES! Last night's hockey game was a blast to watch.. I'm so sad that DD's bed time is at 8 and she didn't get to watch more than the first period with us. She is the reason we watch hockey. I don't know where she picked it up from, but the girl is a super fan and it is hysterical to see her getting into it.
But how the heck does anyone on the east coast watch games that start at 10pm?!?!
Signed, The lady that almost turned off the game when the score was 3-0 and I'd assumed we had no chance of coming back and wanted to go bed early.

Dear DS's Principal,
Please respond to my email in a prompt and supportive fashion. I really want to make this work. DS is happy at the school, and I would love for him to continue to be happy, but also challenged academically; or at least semi-challenged.
Signed, Anxious parent
Dear Parents in DD's Soccer Team,
Stop complaining. I know you paid a lot of money to be in this club league, but so did I. And I hope you realize that all of us coaches are volunteers. If you don't like how the program is run, you are more than welcomed to step in yourself. They are a bunch of 3/4 year olds. So what if we finished the program 5 minutes early? They were tired and distracted!
Signed, Grumpy
Dear Soccer Program Director,
Yes, we need extra help. In a way, I can see why parents are complaining. You are 3 times more expensive than the community league, so most people would expect you to provide a professional coach, instead of relying entirely on parent volunteers to run the programs. And yes, I realize enrollment is massively higher than what you expected, so hire more people!
Dear bosses, When I started here, I rolled in with a bunch of fresh ideas and ways to allocate budget. It was all shot down. Now you've noticed other companies doing those exact things I recommended and you want to know why we're behind on adopting new ideas. Now this is now an emergency to roll out new strategies ASAP to play catch up, when we could have been at the forefront. Ugh. Signed, Frustrated
I am so proud of you for crushing it at gymnastics last night. I know really focusing is hard/boring for you, but last night you were so engaged and your skills were near perfect! I am so happy for you that you found your "thing" and have a team of coaches that encourage and push you. I will always be your biggest cheerleader. Now, off to learn what all of these skills are called...
mae0111, Generally, I really f-ing love this place. But then they pull stuff like this and it drives me up a wall. It makes me look like I haven't been doing my job, when really, I WAS ahead of the curve and I got shot down. It makes me want to re-send every proposal I have just to prove it and be petty.
Dear Gymnastics I know you are breaking down skills but it really does just look like the girls are rolling around in the corner goofing off. I've seen your results so it must work but boy is it hard to watch. Gym Mom
Dear DD Will you please eat. Just because the vet scale said you weighed 53lbs doesn't mean you are fat. You don't look fat and I had no idea you weighed that. I think we need to talk about how muscles weigh more than fat as you look like a body builder. Also will you please not pay attention to the BMI and weight check they are doing at school this week for the PE grant. Mom
Dear Me Just because the office is quiet doesn't mean you still don't have work to do. Get your butt motivated Me
