Death in our community

One of the moms in our MOMS club died yesterday after battling cancer for about a year. I'm feeling very weird about it. We did NOT get along, and she rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. But she was very involved in the club and the town for several years, and leaves behind a husband and 3 girls.

Oh that’s rough. Complicated feelings indeed. It’s ok to feel however you do.

Thanks guys. Part of me is seeing all these FB posts about what a wonderful person and mom she was, and so much fun, and so funny, and I'm all, "Nope, she was always obnoxious and negative to me." But she was a human being, and very invested in her friends and family. I guess I never got the chance to really know her.
