This is my last full week at my current job, then I go part time. I can't believe it, the time has flown! I'm a little freaked out, but also really excited.
My weekend was good. Friday was hip hop class and I do really need to work on nailing that choreography, but practicing the new stuff kills my quads. For several of us, our legs felt like jelly when we were leaving class on Friday. Saturday I went for a hike and brunch with one of my friends and then in the late afternoon went to book club. It was a really nice day.
Yesterday my parents came down for a couple of hours. After they left, I had a session with a dating coach that turned out to be overall shitty, so I took myself makeup shopping and then hung out with a friend before cooking a turkey and lentil chili for the week.
Oh! I got the lab results from when I went to the doctor re: foot and ankle swelling. Everything is fine. Literally everything was exactly here it was supposed to be, except my sodium, which was one point below the lowest end of the range (115, when the normal range goes to 116). So I think I'm gonna live

Weekend was good! Friday P came home from his work trip so we just hung out. Saturday I went to yoga. The class was packed and I ended up not feeling great in the heat. I was exhausted when I got home. After a nap I dyed my hair, went grocery shopping and made homemade bread and broccoli cheese soup for dinner. Sunday I went to a clothing swap, came home and went for a run and then worked out in the yard a bit. Nothing exciting but it was a nice weekend overall
Morning! Weekend was mostly awesome. Friday I went to my BFF's to drink and watch fireworks. It was sooo fun to just unwind and catch up. Plus I did some drunk jump roping lol! Got up Saturday and drank coffee and chilled with the crew. Came home and had dinner with R and then ice cream. I had a headache, so I crashed before 9 PM. Yesterday I was back with my BFF as her daughter had her first communion. We had lunch and then I came home and had dinner with R and his DD.
This past weekend, this upcoming week and next weekend I am making up for the last 6 weeks of being parked on the couch.
Saturday AM I worked and then had lunch and drinks with boss. Saturday afternoon my 2 great nephews came over for a play date and ended up spending the night. Those two boys are so much fun.
Sunday AM I had brunch with my parents, and then went to a friends house to celebrate her son getting drafted into the NFL. (No that is not a typo.) He was drafted by the NY Jets on Saturday. It was the coolest experience to celebrate with him, his family and some close friends. Then sunday night I met up with some other friends for a late dinner.
Today I am off work and am heading out shortly to meet two works friends for lunch and then I am having Sushi tonight with a friend who is in town for work. I told you I am making up for lost time.
Oh and in the mist of all my eating this weekend, I was following the 50cent, Randall Emmett and Lala (Vanderpump Rules cast member) drama on social media. I now am the biggest 50cent fan ever after all his hysterical posts.
This weekend was crazy busy. Friday was the chillest day, I left work early bought some shoes and went to a yoga class. Saturday was gorgeous out. I went to enjoy a festival with some friends and headed to the Atlanta tailgate and the game. Sunday I grocery shopped, went to an awesome friends bday party on a rooftop. I ended the weekend watching Game of Thrones.
This weekend was nuts...and it just kind of washed over me. I was in a manic haze the first night (Friday night) and then I crashed Saturday afternoon. Not cool.
But I made it home, and I slept like a rock last night so I'm feeling better today.
And I got nominated for Innovator of the Month at my company! I didn't win, but I got nominated
Hi! tiramisu im glad you got a good bill of health!
Friday night i watched my bf's band play a show in a coffee shop. Metal bands. In a coffee shop. It was awesome. We went out afterwards to what is becoming my favorite new bar
Saturday i viewed a new apartment, then went to a twins game with friends and rested the rest of the day.
Sunday i went to a benefit that my brother throws for his company, and watched game of thrones with bf at night.

My birthday was Friday and it was a weird day. Every emotion because this is my first birthday without my STBX around to clean the house and pamper me in like 22 years. And his family, who are like second parents to me. And STBX did randomly stop by to give me a present, which didn't go over well with my emotions. Then I almost canceled on dinner with my parents, which was actually a surprise party with like 15+ friends and my parents. I did end up going and it was great and I felt loved and celebrated.
Saturday was better, with a second birthday celebration of Hot Barre and Beers (and a weird botox-laden open house event in between). And birthday parties for other kids and a play date for another kid, and alone time with my oldest, and then watching 4 kids for friends so they could go out on a date. Just busy.
Sunday was third birthday celebration with yoga and beer - and guy who works at the brewery picked up my beers since he found out. A dog hike in the cold/snow - on April 28th (ugh). And then a good, productive, and hopeful 2 hour discussion of parenting plan and financials with my STBX, where we are basically on the same board. That is great for kids, and means I can file soon after our next coparenting counseling session and it felt healing to know we aren't vengeful at all and we can still talk openly and disagree without anger, but instead just find solutions.
My weekend was really nice. The weather was picture perfect. I did a beach clean up with my Dad on Saturday morning that was hosted by my parent's church. Saturday evening I went to a party that a girlfriend threw. It was outside at a farm with live music. So perfect. Sunday I slept in and did some housework in the morning. Went to see Breakthrough with my parents in the afternoon. It was really good and I cried a bunch.
I'm in Dallas this week for work and reconnecting with an old work friend for dinner tonight. Super excited about that.
