For the first time in like ten years I can wear jeans to work. Recommendations! Also ways to dress them up a bit? I felt terribly underdressed in my medium wash skinnies today, blouse and flats. This will game getting used to.

I just got a pair of white jeans from Loft last week and it seems white jeans are in this season plus I think they will make me look a little dressier on casual Friday. High waisted also still seems to be in but I can’t pull that off. I’m not sure about bootleg; I still prefer skinny jeans worn with longer shirts
I’m more comfortable in skirts and dresses, but my favorite jeans are from Anthropologie. I usually wear them on fridays with shiny flats or dressy sandals and a blouse and necklace.
Summer and jeans is hard for me with work dress codes - open toed platform or wedge sandals are my go to when dressing up jeans, but some of our offices require closed toe. I love the look of classic heels with jeans when done right but I never feel like I do it right.
I like white or dark wash for dressier. Another fun option is grey or blush. And I am seeing bootlegs come back, and am glad I saved mine.
For fit, if there’s a Buckle near you being professionally fitted changed the way I buy jeans. They never fit right before and I had no idea. Silver are my favorites there, but my overall favorites are American Eagle.
I prefer dark wash for work, I just think it looks a little more polished. White sounds nice for summer, but I would be that person who would spill/drop lunch on myself and have to walk around with a stain the rest of the day, lol.
A few months ago bought a pair of skinny dark wash and straight leg dark wash jeans from Banana Republic Factory, and I really like them. I would watch for sales - I got mine for around $35 each on sale.
My favorite jeans for the last few years have been Madewells. Love, love, love them. Perfect amount of stretch, high enough rise that muffin top isn't an issue, not so high that I feel like my mother a la 1992.
