Sounds pretty crazy- McIntosh won the Democratic caucus 58-40. Will be interesting to see how those 40 reps end up voting.  If they go with Davis, he could win with GOP support.

Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, chair of the MD Democratic party, has pledged to decrease or eliminate state Democratic resources to reps who vote against the Democratic caucus.

Aaaand it’s Adrienne Jones! Interesting end run that got her there and Maryland has its first non-white, non-male Speaker.
