Just thought I'd throw this out there as a suggestion for anyone who wants a cool experience in London.
My H and I went to dinner at the Naanery at the Lalit London hotel. You start with a small snack to wet your appetite. Then, the chef makes 4 different naans in front of you. My H even got a chance to roll out a naan and was offered the possibility of putting it in the tandoori oven (he declined). With each course (naan), you have a different wine which is paired with it (3 out of the 4 were perfection). You then end the meal with a tiffin tin which contains rice, daal, butter chicken and a dessert (carrot halva). It's about £50 per person so a really special meal. We were there for about 2-1/2 hours and had some really great chats with the chef. A fabulous experience.
We stayed in the LaLit last year while in London. It's an old school that has been renovated into a hotel and it is beautiful inside. The room was really nice and comfortable and the service was stellar. I mentioned to the front desk that I was looking for a souvenir copy of the newspaper since it was immediately following Harry and Meghan's wedding and the staff found two different newspapers and left them in the room for us. It was a really great hotel stay.
I think they also offer an Indian afternoon tea. Our schedule didn't allow us to look more into it, but I was really tempted!

Yeah, we did an overnight and really loved it. I want to do the tea at some point.
