50k bucket list

What races are on yours?

I’m looking for ideas. I’ve only done one so I can’t like...scale mountains or run in the desert.

But I’d love to find one with beautiful scenery that I can look forward to.

Tad more than 50-K but top on my list is Many on the Genny 40-miler in Letchworth State Park   manyonthegenny.com/

and also Grayson Highlands 50K is now on my bucket list, I had no idea it existed until I started researching a backpacking trip there. www.runbumtours.com/graysonhighlandsraces

I had a few friends that did this last weekend and loved it! I had never heard of it. The pictures were amazing.

As of now, the only ultra on my bucket list is the JFK 50-miler! I officially committed a week or so ago. It will be my first. I'm nervous but excited. 

I may try to do a 50K in the fall for a training run if I can find time.

I read this as 50 miles at first so this is a little more than you were looking for- Fall 50 www.fall50.com in Door County WI. I do this as a relay every year so I've run most of the course over time. It's a gorgeous route during peak fall colors, some hilly sections and an awesome after party. I have a "someday" goal of running the whole thing.

Ooh Moab! I've been there once for hiking and LOVED it. Great choice!!
annnd......now I apparently have to make Grayson Highlands happen at some point :-)

I did a bit more research and like Dead Horse ultra in November instead of red hot. It’s still in Moab though. Too bad this year it’s the same day as Richmond. May be next year.
