Happy Friday ladies!! We made it! How's everyone doing? What are your weekend plans?
I've been loving training, even though getting up early enough for a 6am shift has been really hard. I'm really glad today is my last day of that, even though I'm going to miss my trainer and the station where I've been.
This weekend I have to follow up with one of my dance teachers by going to her class that's kinda far from me, since I couldn't make last night's class. Then I'm volunteering at an event for my outgoing work and afterwards I'm driving up to my parents' house to spend time with my mom for Mother's Day.
I have a meeting today that I'm extremely nervous about...my boss asked if I wanted to facilitate and when I said no (still kicking myself for not stepping up, but there's a lot of big names in this meeting) he made the point that I definitely needed to participate.
So I'm writing up a bunch of talking points for myself and hoping that I manage to get a word in edgewise between all the executive hot air *deep breaths*
Not much going on this weekend...it's mother's day weekend, so I'm feeling pretty down.

I'm doing ok. I had a meltdown earlier in the week when I had my oncology follow up. Essentially I was being the cranky cancer patient and just let loose on all the side effects I can't stand. Normally I try and go in with a sunny attitude of "I don't like these side effects but it's better than not being here!" but I went in and just b*tched. Thank god I have a great NP who was understanding and listened to me. Still battling some of the crankiness but I'm trying to get out of it.
Nothing planned for tonight. Tomorrow is my nephew's college grad party then I'm going a bike race with a friend. I may also go for a run with a new run group. Nothing planned for Sunday.
Going out for Stefans birthday dinner tonight Having friends over tomorrow night and cooking his birthday dinner All kids will be home on sunday and ill be cooking again!
Danilo will probably moving to Mass, in the next few months
Tonight hanging out with bf and friends. Tomorrow, mothers day dinner and cleaning. Sunday, study and GOT!
I registered for my big hr certification exam. May 28. The clock has officially started ticking.
Bullys, bitching is totally appropriate. Do it whenever you need to! tiramisu I'm still so happy for you that you have a good career change! It's really exciting.
I'll be spending the weekend trying to do a lot of decluttering and spring cleaning. Not very exciting, but it's definitely needed!

Hugs, SwimDeep. Unfortunately I can somewhat relate. As cliched as it sounds, try to do something for yourself this weekend for self-care. It doesn't have to be anything big (getting a coffee at your favourite coffee place, seeing a movie, whatever.) Something that you'll enjoy that can also offer a distraction.
