Hilton Head suggestions (@)

Heading to Hilton Head at the end of our maternity/paternity leave.  We'll have a 3 month old and are FTP (if that matters).    

We will be there for 6 days, driving, but it will be Labor Day weekend so I'm sure it will be chaos.  Staying in a condo near the Westin. 

We plan on just relaxing and chilling most of the time, and will make one day trip over to Beaufort to see friends, but do you have any other suggestions or ideas of things we should do?  Any kid-friendly restaurants?  We do like visiting historical sites but not really museums.

So you haven’t had the baby yet and FTP? I would not book anything yet or anytime soon.

I don't know what FTP means, but would recommend a day trip to Savannah.

She stated she has a 3 month old and she's at the end of a maternity/paternity leave, so I'd assume that's the baby.

My kid will be three months when we go.  Yes, first time parents.  We'll be driving, so we're not booking flights or anything.

You can rent bikes and bike on the great bike paths in Sea Pines. Take a dolphin watching cruise. Coastal Discovery Museum is interesting for an hour or two (not so much a musueum, has a lot of outdoor paths). www.coastaldiscovery.org/
Many restaurants are family friendly. With a 3 month old, it doesn't really matter a they will still be easy to travel with or asleep half the time. We like The Lodge for good craft beer and burgers. Wise Guys for a nice dinner. Skull Creek Boathouse or Dockside for seafood and good sunsets.
