I am SO excited to have a nice weekend ahead! Tomorrow I'm going to bring Cal to Drumlin Farm in the morning and then I have a prenatal massage. We'll probably grill in the afternoon.
Sunday, who knows. I've been trying to pack in as many fun Mama/Cal dates while I can, so we might head into Boston and do the Swan Boats or something. This is at odds with my desire to lie on the couch and watch netflix, so we'll see lol.

Hope the birthday party goes smoothly, liveintheville ! We have Ben's next weekend, so I'm praying for good weather. Even though it's just my nephew and Ben, a very energetic 3 1/2-year-old and a 4-year-old running back and forth between two rooms is a bit of a nightmare.
Enjoy the BBQ, RockNVoll! And I hope you have a great Mama/Cal day, scm1011!
Ben has yoga class first thing tomorrow (it's adorable and he loves it), and then I might take him to the carnival in Winchester in the afternoon. I have no idea what we'll do on Sunday, but they have FINALLY finished our new fence, so at least we can get into our backyard again.
Unrelated, did you all hear John Harvard's is closing? I don't even like it, and I'm sad it's closing. Stupid developers.
Thank goodness we took advantage of the nice weather yesterday. The forecast was still saying sunny, warm, with partial clouds for today and then I woke up to this wet mess. Make it stop!!!
Right?! I’m bummed. I went out this morning and bought a bunch of shrubs and flowers to plant and it was pouring by the time I got home. All of a sudden it’s of vital importance I beautify our yard before the baby arrives and I want to get this done today damnit (I may be nesting lol).

My husband had JUST dragged all the leaf bags to the curb from the garage when it started pouring, womp womp.
And RockNVoll, I’m so bummed about the Curious George store! I’m glad they’re not closing altogether, but it’s really crappy that they can’t stay where they’ve been for ages. I’m still annoyed Crema closed so they could open up another coffee shop. Because apparently, that’s just what that spot needed. (Insert massive eye roll here.)

Dude, how are you still able to bend over and dig?!
I’m sure it was a sight, but I managed to plant 2 hydrangea bushes, 2 azalea buses, and some marigolds. Here’s hoping it kick starts labor!
Saturday was glorious! Perfect timing, because S's school had their 5K on Saturday, and I was on the committee. I got to ride in the lead police car LOL . Sunday was kind of a bust, which was a bummer because we were supposed to work in the garden. Instead I got my hair did (I'm now blonde with a bob), and prep for my colonoscopy which happens in just a few hours time. Good times!

scm1011 we were supposed to do planting as well Sunday. Then the skies opened. All our mulch is still in the trunk of the car.
L’s party went great! He was so excited and had so much fun. The only issue is that we all drove with my parents since they have a big suv and we put the leftover cake in the trunk. Well they left with the cake so no leftover cake for me. Probably for the best but I wanted that cake!

Noooo! No leftover cake is the worrrrrrst! For Ben's party last year, I bought the same size ice cream cake I'd bought the year before since it was the same exact group, but totally forgot that Ben and my nephew were both big enough to have their own pieces instead of just a few bites of other people's. Yeah, we ran out. I had to split a piece with Ben, and I was SO MAD when we didn't have any cake left for dinner that night or for the next few days. I think we ended up getting one a few weeks later for my birthday/father's day as a consolation. I'm glad he had a good party otherwise, though!
Hope you survived your colonoscopy, drloretta , and everything comes back normal.
