That was a fun read. No one tell my kids that they don't have to be quiet in the library. It's pretty much the only place they are quiet.

Thanks for posting. Buried in the comments was a plug for Library Friends groups, and I’ll plug them, too! I lead ours now and we do great things. Everybody, consider checking yours out if you haven’t already. 🙂

My favorite thing about our local library is they will put out puzzles. People work on them as they walk by or will sit and work on the puzzle. Last week they put out a new 3000 piece puzzle on mother's day and DH watched the kids so I could work on it. Then a few days later I told my DH to drop me off at the library while he took the kids to violin lessons just so I could work on it some more. I love puzzles, but with 2 kids and 2 cats in a 1000 sq foot home, there is no way to do them there.

Ours does too. Sadly though it also has a sign telling people to kindly not destroy it. It’s funny watching people, no one can walk past a puzzle without working on it.
