Mornings are typically the time I can get D to take a solo nap and I really need her to this morning. I transferred her to the PNP and then her eyes opened. Next thing you know I'm like a pancake on the floor. I didn't think twice I just hit the deck. She closed her eyes and rolled over. Whew! Close call.
I've had to do that before...I peek in to check on him and when he turns his head to me I hit the floor. Anything to avoid him thinking it's now playtime!

Ha! I have so been there. Especially as we're working on "drowsy but awake" with Etta, but I'm trying to catch her before she gets fussy if it's not gonna fly, so I'm always trying to peek without being seen. I'm stealthy most of the time, but I'm also incredibly ungraceful, so I'm always stubbing my toe and having to stifle myself from saying "DAMMIT!" which is always my inclination.

Haha I'm very familiar with the move! The other night I had to do the same thing with Lincoln but when I ducked down I smacked my mouth on the crib rail, it took everything in me not to yell "Holy fuck that hurt!"

Ouch! I wonder if we will remember stuff like this when we are old.
