I was just coming in here to ask if someone could tell me why Rothys are amazing and why they are worth the $. I see some that I like, but they are $125 and that seems like...a lot. It's for the slip-on sneakers.

I thought the same thing until I bought my first pair. I have the pointy toe flats. Just buy them 🤣

It's a lot-but I have worn mine several times a week for almost 18 months now and they still look brand new. The soles don't have a bit of wear on them. I have feet that are borderline wide and they flex to fit my feet perfectly. If they ever start to stink a little or if I get them dirty, I throw them in the washer, air dry, good as new. I also know a few people who wear orthotics and they fit in the flats well; remove the insert and insert the orthotics, no issues.
I just got my 2nd pair last week. I do think they are worth the money. I bought another pair of flats elsewhere recently that are a similar style, and they are already looking dirty and worn. The Rothy's I bought a month or so before that, and have worn 3-4 days a week since, still look brand new. It's an adjustment to me to shell out money at the beginning for good shoes, but I think if they last longer they may actually be a long run savings.

Has anyone who has legit wide feet tried them? I wear a 9 wide in all of my other shoes. I’ve got bunions so they are wide at the toe base, not all over. Rothy’s just days to size up, but I worry they will be too big all over since the rest of my foot is “normal”- they aren’t pudgy.

Well, I haven't had my feet measured since I was a kid but I think mine are legit wide. I can get away with wearing normal shoes but I tend to wear out the sides of flats because my foot spills over the sides of the sole.
I think my Rothys are fine. They are stretchy, so they don't smash your feet the same way more structured shoes do. And the sole is thick enough that I haven't noticed any wear on the sides of the shoe.
They are free shipping both ways, so you could always try a pair and see how they feel.

I also have bunions, and the rest of my feet are "normal" sized. I have found, in my limited Rothy's experience, that they are pretty great for bunions because the soft fabric just kind of flows over the bunion instead of rubbing against the part that sticks out and giving me blisters (the way other flats and stiff leather shoes do). They do not feel excessively large in the rest of the shoe, either. I usually wear a size 8 in non-Roth shoes, but sometimes an 8.5 because my left foot is slightly larger. So far, I've found success in Rothy's sizing with size 9 in the point and 9.5 in the loafer - I have one pair of each. 9.5 is crazy to me, so I definitely think their sizing is wonky, but I just kept exchanging until they finally felt comfortable and now I understand the hype. The worst that could have happened is none of them worked for me and then I would have just returned and gotten all my money back.
(I also have a discount code to PM if anyone would like it.)

I have small 'normal sized' feet but I also have bunions and agree that these shoes do not bother them at all! I just bought my second pair and will definitely buy a few more. Planning to basically get rid of all my other flats and replace them with Rothy's :-)
I know a lot of people size up in the Point, but I'm a solid 6 and they fit perfectly.
