Training schedule for the week? Sunday: Track/velodrome workout Monday: Yoga Tuesday: Track racing Wed.: Road ride w/intervals Thursday: Road ride w/light intervals Friday: Off Sat.: Mountain bike ride. If my back is not ok, road ride. Sunday: TBD probably a gravel ride Monday: Track Workout
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I sprained my back 2 weeks ago, and it's still bugging me most days. At this point, it's just giving it time to heal.
Any AW's or brags? It's not supposed to rain this weekend, but it will be 95+ degrees.
Bonus Question - Any fun plans for the upcoming long Memorial Day weekend? As much riding as I can and a cookout one day.

What are you training for? Date? Half marathon, just deciding which one. Depends on if my H wants to run it or not. It'll either be 9/22 or 10/6.
Training schedule for the week? Sun: Power Vinyasa Mon: Run 4 Tues: Bike Wed: Power Vinyasa and strength Thus: Power Vinyasa and Run 4 Fr: Bike and strength Sat: Run 4 Sun: rest
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! My dog was limping really bad on Sunday and then yesterday didn't really want to move. She has a bad shoulder and this has happened before. I was carrying her out this morning to go pee and I pulled my back.
Any AW's or brags? labbie recommended a local PT and Sports Rehab place for a running analysis. I spoke to the co-owner this morning who was really nice. He said given how much I've been injured over the years, he can do an eval and bill it under insurance. Then I get a complete evaluation and the running analysis done. My appointment is next Thursday. BOOM!
Bonus Question - Any fun plans for the upcoming long Memorial Day weekend? I think we are going to party on Saturday. Other than that, nothing really planned. I did take Friday off though, which I'm excited about.

M - rest T - uhhh...honestly probably nothing. I have SO MUCH laundry to catch up on. And the house is a wreck and the cleaning lady is coming wednesday so we have to get it picked up. W - hourish trainer? Or maybe take the kids for a spin because I think it's going to be nice out again tomorrow. Th - trainer intervals. F - Rest Sa - 100 leisurely miles (lunch break planned halfway at a bbq restaurant, another stop along the way at a bakery) Su - something less than 100 miles on the new bikes FINALLY, exact specs TBD M - open water swim? if the water isn't toooooo cold.
Issues - I just feel like I can't catch up on my life. There's always 397 things I haven't gotten done and all I want to do is sleep and/or read. Also I haven't been on a run in like a month. Need to get on that...
AW - I rode my bike 131 miles! And the day after I was pretty damn tired and sore, but yesterday felt almost normal and today feel totally fine.
Long weekend - as long as the weather cooperates, we're putting the boat in the water! And then probably eating burgers with the IL's.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! The PTA is planning a big event for our end of the school year and I'm so ready for it to be over. We have a billion things to do before it's over.
Any AW's or brags? I had a fun weekend learning about camping with the girl scouts. The weather was nice and it was great to be outdoors. I learned a lot that I'm excited to use when we go camping in a few weeks at Assateague.

I'm debating signing up for a half in July. But it's no where near me, so I'd have to convince my H that it's a good idea and that he should want to go with me for a long weekend.

I took Friday off so I have a 4 day weekend, but so far my biggest plans are going through my clothes and taking them to donate and going to see a movie. Training schedule for the week? Just get some base mileage in on this ankle of mine!
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Foot is 3mos post-op and I'm just frustrated that I'm not 100% yet, but happy I can run on it so far.
Any AW's or brags? Sunday I bought a treadmill (!!!), and yesterday some new running shoes for some more ankle stability...I'm so ready to make up for a year of no running.
