I’m packing for Kilimanjaro and second-guessing everything.
I have 9 days on the mountain, hiking and camping. Is it reasonable to assume that I can wear an outfit twice? Or should I plan for fresh stuff (shirts, underwear, socks) every day?
I am thinking it will probably be best to have a fresh pair of socks each day, underwear every 2 days, and maybe a fresh T-shirt most mornings, but this looks like a lot of stuff..
If you’ve packed for a long hike or camping trip, how much stuff did you bring? And what items would you prioritize for bringing more of?
When I do long treks, I do 2 days on underwear (turn them inside out on day 2) and 3 days on shirts, 2 days on socks, 2 pairs of pants to rotate between.
I know Appalachian thru hikers would laugh at that amount of clothes. I don't know what the weather will be like, but I'd bring enough to rotate such that you get to put on dry clothes each morning. And keep sleeping clothes relatively clean by putting them on just before getting into the bag. You can also rinse and dry to freshen clothes.

When I did Everest, I rewore my clothes for several days. I think my trip was nine days and I brought 4 pair of socks, two pair of sock liners, three pairs of pants and a few shirts. For undies, I did e/o day and brought panty liners to try and keep them "fresh" for two days. So jealous! Have fun and report back
