I hope it’s okay for me to post over here - I don’t have kids and I’m at a loss as to what to get my 2 year old cousin (boy). He loves Daniel Tiger, music, being outside, generally anything interactive. I’d like to keep it at $75 or lower. He’s speech delayed and does therapy (so maybe something that also might help with his speech?). Suggestions for items that are Prime eligible or are at Target are welcome since toy stores don’t exist anymore apparently. Thanks in advance!
I have 3 boys so basically have everything... my youngest just turned 2 and we got him the Leap Frog Ice Cream Cart. He loves it.
He’s also into mega blox/LEGO junior sets, play doh, kinetic sand, and we have a little tikes food truck that he likes (he’s into play kitchen stuff right now). For outside he loves the bubble mower and takes it everywhere
If he has older siblings, they likely have some of this but just ideas:
Water table Mini trampoline (the toddler size one) Bubble anything Magnatiles Amazon kids Fire tablet- might be a smidge young but we got one for our 2.5 year old and he loves it
Strider bike (and helmet!) water table slide mini gardening kit (rake, shovel, etc) mini roller coaster TRUCKS and TRACTORS!!! books of any sort chalk swimming--could you pay for lessons, perhaps?
Leap frog ice cream cart Is awesome. Got it when my son turned two last summer and it gets so much play time. My 5 yo loves it to. Every kid who comes to the house plays with it.
We never had a Roller coaster but my kids love them at other places. Slightly above your price range though.
a wooden train set is awesome if they don’t have one
really, at 2, they are easy to please. They will love anything new.
My twins just turned two and they got balance bikes & helmets for their bday. They also love trucks, puzzles that make sound, and all of their backyard toys like a water table, ride on tractor, sand toys & octopus sprinkler.
A few days after buying them, I was in Costco and saw someone exiting with a Step2 water table that looked a lot nicer. Makes me wish I'd checked Costco first! I don't see that particular table on their website, but I did find this Step2 waterfall toy which looks cute: www.costco.com/Step-2-Waterfall-Discovery-Wall.product.100396605.html
