Good luck wawa! I'm up way to early to head to a charity bike ride. I'm glad it starts early b/c heavy rain is supposed to move in by lunch time here and stay through Tuesday.

I’m deciding if I want to go to the gym or hop on the bike at home. I really should go to the gym to upgrade my membership to include classes and a guest.
Well, that was epic. It started pouring right as we started the charity ride. Rain came down in sheets. The temperatures dropped about 5 degrees to about 65. People turned back in the first few miles. I cut it short and did the 25 miler. I finished 3 hours ago and am still drying out. I feel so bad for the organizers; so much effort goes into these rides! Luckily a lot of people pre-register, they have good sponsors, and should be able to donate $$ to their cause.
I cancelled spin class this morning to go into Boston and cheer for my friend. She ended up in the hospital after completing 16 miles of the Boston Marathon. Today she started where she stopped and ran the rest of the way to the finish line.
Now I am cleaning, which won't take long and relaxing until I go out tonight.
I wanted to ride my bike and did but I really should have gone earlier but could not get motivated until 10:30am. It was too warm and I felt exhausted on the way home even when the trail was flat. I did get some mileage in though.
Welp 112 miles was not the plan. But that's what we got. Not the day I wanted. This course was brutal but not in elevation or distance (though that too) but in traffic and terrible road conditions. It was...stressful. i uhh...don't recommend this event.
