I can’t even really describe it. I touch my back and it’s not on the outsideish. It feels more inside. Only on the right. I have trouble pretty much moving it at all. It’s almost impossible to get off the ground without severe pain. I’ve gotten a sweet limp. I’m of course going to call the doctor, but anyone else have this and get relief?
I had HORRIBLE lower back/hip pain with DS - I didn’t remember which side, but it was only one, and my OB thought just due to his preferred position. I am very anti chiropractor in general but broke down and went at like 38 or 39 weeks (nothing my OB recc to that point had made a lick of difference). It helped slightly, and I wish I’d gone earlier to see if I had actual improvement.
I’m sorry I remember how utterly miserable I was.
I’m very nervous about chiropractors generally, too, but if that’s the best option I might have to try. It used to only be at the end of the day but now it’s all day. I fear waking up sometime in third tri and not being able to walk.

Could it be sciatic pain? Does it radiate down your leg at all? I’ve had lots of back problems pre-pregnancy (which really worries me as I progress!) and I found Tylenol Arthritis always worked well for my back pain. I’m not sure if it’s allowed, but since it’s Tylenol, maybe? Try some heat too. I hope you get some relief soon!

That’s exactly what the nurse asked and it doesn’t. Waaah. I was so rushed at my appt Monday I didn’t get to ask about it and now I’m mad at myself. They told me to mention at my next appt for possible PT but if it gets worse to call back and they’ll bring me in.
Chiropractor, seriously. Mine is the only reason my back/hip pain was bearable during my pregnancies. I'm pretty anti-woo but I do believe in the importance of aligning the skeleton properly.
Last night I laid down with my pregnant pillow and still felt pain laying down. So I shoved an extra pillow between my legs and really propped it up. I didn’t sleep as well, but it feels SO much better today.

Have you tried kt tape for sciatica? I also got a few massages and some of them helped. I had her work exclusively on that one area. I slept with a pillow between my legs and one propping my back. It was awful. Hope you feel better.
