I thought I would share this here. With this investigation, I wonder if contracts will be cancelled and new housing companies taking over. Anyone have any insight from what housing was like prior to the move to private contracts?

I don't know why I was surprised by this - obviously they are shady and manipulating reporting. Otherwise how did this go on for so long?

We have Balfour here and they have been going above and beyond recently with maintenance issues. Like, over the top. They also are charging zero dollars for cleaning upon move out as of a few weeks ago. They really are trying to suck up lol.

@dnc I don't know why I was surprised either but it seemed to make it even more real how low these private contracting companies will go to make a profit at the expense of residents.

We had BB at our last station and it was a mess. I can imagine how much butt kissing BB will be doing now that this is out. I can only guess they are under immediate audits/investigations. I saw on my FaceBook the military is trying to put together a Renter's Rights too.
