Besides prenatals, is anyone taking any other supplements or doing anything to try and aide in their bodies in ttc?
Like I keep hearing about grapefruit juice and EPO, to help with ewcm...not sure I'm ready to jump on any bandwagons here, but I'm curious about what others are doing/not doing.
I'm hoping for natural stuff before I run off for pre-seed or cough syrup...(seriously?? cough syrup?!)
I don't have a dryness issue, for the record, (tmi sorrrry) but I'm sure some extra would help the spermies out, right??
Oh and if this convo has been done, please someone send me a link to that thread. TIA!
I'm just taking pre-natals, and trying to limit my caffeine. Otherwise, I'm trying to keep the same healthy-ish diet that I ate before (though I'm making a more concerted effort to make healthy choices).
This cycle I'm going to try green tea extract until O (which is supposed to help with EWCM too and I've taken it before without issues) and POM juice until O (supposed to help thicken your lining, I think, getting conflicting advice on the Internets. Have asked over on MMMs).
I don't have a dryness issue persay, but I don't notice it until I go looking for it, lol. So I'm thinking it could probably be better?

I am the odd duck who is trying to gain a few pounds. I've always been underweight. I went to a nutrionalist in college to get some tips on what I could eat to help me gain, and she was like, do you get your period?!? When I replied that I did, every single month, she stated that I must have a fast metabolism. She made me so nervous I actually lost weight, so I stopped going.
But other than that, I'm taking pre-natals and trying to use more natural beauty products.
I've been taking prenatals since last December. And this cycle, I just started taking another vitamin B6 (100 mg) to try and lengthen my luteal phase because it seems to only be 10 days. Not sure if it will help, but it's worth a try!
