Anyone have a reformed cat napper? When did the transition happen? If I don't intervene Owen only naps for 30-40 minutes at a time. If I want him to nap longer I need to cuddle/hold him once he starts to stir.
Please tell me there's hope that it will get better?

Sorry, I have no advice but the same thing is happening here. She used to be a great napper and it's all gone to shit. I keep trying to tell her that there's an easy cure for the crankiness she feels after not napping long enough, but she has yet to listen to me.
Jamie is sem-reformed. He still goes 30-40 minutes (very very occasionally longer) but will fuss in bed for 15 minutes and go back to sleep. It changed in the past 2 weeks. He was sleep trained at 16 weeks do we never felt the full brunt of the 4MW, but I think the catnapping was part of it.

It gets better. Jake would only nap for 30-45 minutes, then they slowly started to get longer. On a typical good day, he will have 3 naps. Two will be 1.5-2 hours and the last will be 30-45 minutes.
But, he is swaddled in his swing for naps, so you know I'll be bitching about that in a month or so when we try to transition him.
