The timing of my baby shower was depending on our travel schedule. It was at 27+4 since we had to go back home again just a few days later (due to medical travel insurance I had to be back home at 28+0)
I only had one baby shower but it was between 36-37 weeks and I’m still annoyed about it (7 years later, haha). I felt it didn’t give me enough time to prepare, I was so swollen a d uncomfortable, and then I got sick right after, most likely from a sick guest.

I wish it had been between 30-32 weeks.
I didn't get a baby shower until one week post partum (keep in mind, it was still a "girl's only shower" so DH wasn't even allowed to come help me with the baby) and DH's family threw one almost two months post partum.
3 years later, I'm still very bitter. Glad to know I'm not the only one!
I didn't officially do maternity pics, but I had pro pics taken at 34 weeks with my first, which was my brother's wedding (I was a bridesmaid). It felt like a pretty good time.
I didn't have a shower in either pregnancy, so no help there.

We only had a shower and maternity pics with my son and both were around 31-32 weeks. My job and students both threw me sprinkles with DD and that was about a month before I was due.

My shower is scheduled for when I’ll be about 32 weeks. I’m undecided if we’re going to do maternity pics or not, but we’d probably do them around 32-34 weeks if we do.

I’m doing my Sister’s shower at 35 weeks. I feel terrible, but it’s the first time we can get all three Grandmothers in attendance, since my Mom went on a one month long trip to Japan and then spent two weeks in Florida.
My shower for DD was at 25 weeks which was really nice but actually seemed a bit early. I remember being in a panic to complete my registry. However that summer we were fully booked with weddings and wedding showers and bachelorettes in the family so we did it early to get it out of the way before all the other madness.

No shower yet since I'm a FTM.
I'll probably have my work shower in August sometime around 35ish weeks. Not sure on the timing, just know that it will be happening.
My everyone else shower will likely be at the end of July so around 32 weeks but I now that my friends and I are finally wrapped up traveling for a bit, we need to figure out the date. We briefly talked about it a few weeks ago, but life has been insane so nothing has been planned.
I really want to do maternity pictures, but I can already see that time is slipping away, so not sure if I'll be able to make it happen, especially since I don't have a photographer in mind.
With my singleton, I had a baby shower at around 32 weeks and did maternity photos around 34 weeks. It felt like good timing for both.
With my current twin pregnancy, I’m having a sprinkle at 27 weeks and did maternity photos at 22 weeks as I was very clearly pregnant and didn’t want to be too too big in my photos.
Thanks you guys, this is so helpful! I’m feeling hesitant to have a shower (I REALLY don’t like being the center of attention) but I’m feeling a little pressure. I had originally thought around 35/36 weeks but it sounds like that might be late.
I have a hard time being center of attention as well and got anxiety before my showers. I think most people are focused on cute baby stuff rather than the recipient. Or at least that’s what I’d tell myself. LOL

All my showers/sprinkles have been out for brunch because I did not want a traditional baby shower. I also didn’t want anyone getting me gifts. All were around 35 weeks. Wouldn’t recommend going any later than that as I delivered one of mine a few days after. I never did maternity photos and only did newborn photos for my first at about 10 days old.
