The aftermath of 2 days of track cycling is not pretty. I slept over 9 hours. I'll go for a 2 hour easy ride to spin my legs out. I may stop by the chiropractor for an adjustment then grocery shopping, and the usual Sunday stuff.
I ran 2 loops of trail for a total of 10 miles this am. Throwing a birthday pool party for my daughter and 11 other little kids in less than 3 hours-really enjoying this soak in the tub!
Went for a mountain bike ride today, first one in 3 weeks. It didn’t go well, only did an hour in the end as I felt so low energy and weak technically. Maybe still not fully recovered from being ill
Whenever this happens I feel like I’m going to give up mtb forever but I just need to hang in there for a good ride to bring back the happy bike feelings

Ran 4 miles and walked 3. My highest mileage since my half in May 😬. Gotta get back on the wagon with exercise this week. One week of rest turned into 6.
Finished 11 miles! I signed up for a trail half marathon in July so I'm working on getting my milage up.
My friend just did her first trail half marathon and loved it. Trails are so much fun; I am not sure I could handle a half on the trails though!
Normally when I run trails, I just go for time not distance and this will be the longest I've raced them so it will be interesting for sure. I'm nervous but it seemed like a good challenge for the summer!
