I’ve looked everywhere on the Garmin app but I can’t figure out how or if this even possible. I want to set up a personal challenge to myself. Like, run 30 miles this week or do so many cross training sessions. There’s an option to challenge your contacts, but I just want the app/my watch to track my personal challenge. Obviously I can add up the mileage or activities but if there was a fun tracking thing like the circles they use for steps that’s what I’m looking for.
I think you have to do it in Garmin Connect under Goals? I've never done it but mine just automatically sets a goal. I should go in and remove them cause they are annoying/meaningless to me.

There is a goal section where you can customize it and set distance, time or amount goals. You have to access through Garmin connect. I've never been able to find it in the app myself. For example I usually have various distance goals for the month and for the year have my overall distance goal of 2019.
