Very hot 5k this morning. Slower than I wanted and I don't think I will do this race again, just because of where it was in relation to my house, but the race director was hilarious!

Friday - impromptu rest day, I had a killer headache. I did about 10 minutes of yoga for international yoga day Saturday - 6 mile run, 2 mile hike Sunday - yoga and 3 hours at the neighborhood pool
Sat: rest day at the beach. Lots of running after my toddler. Sun: 10K. I’m way under trained because I’ve only been running once a week, but beat my only goal which was to finish under an hour. I felt amazing. Ran with a friend for the beginning at a slower pace, which helped me because I usually go out wayyy too fast and then die. I really need to learn from this experience =)
I didn't get as many miles as I should've, but I enjoyed the ones I did. I'm really enjoying my trail miles. I've made some new friends and they are just fun to try to navigate the different terrain and not worry about pace.
