This weekend was amazing. I went out at 11 pm on Friday night to a dance party! I danced so much it was fantastic. However before the dance party my H, and 7 other friends booked a trip to Paris next march for 300$ per ticket. It's going to be crazy fun. I can not wait.
Have a blast in Ireland doglove. What cities are you visiting?

We are staying in Galway, but there for 10 days and rented a car to explore the country. ☺️

Weekend was great! Friday night I ran errands.
Saturday was my long run with my training group. Afterwards we went for breakfast and coffee. I'm SO glad I signed up for this group. Everyone is so nice and fun. I even exchanged numbers with one of the women in my group. After that I worked in the yard for a bit and went to book club. Later that night we had a "first date" with another couple, haha. We ran in the same circles but never hung out solo. We went out to dinner and then went to a music festival.
Sunday was a recovery run and then I went to a food styling photography class. Then it was more yard work.
I'm here! Finally feeling mostly better from the cold or allergy flare up or whatever I've been dealing with for about a week. My weekend was good, I got lots of rest and had fun. Thursday I got a facial, Friday I went to a dance friend's birthday get-together, and Saturday I went to another friend's birthday party. Work has been going well, still adjusting to Sunday being part of my work week and not the weekend.
Happy Monday! I had a great weekend - the 95%+ humidity finally broke, and I spent all weekend outdoors or hanging inside with the windows open. M and I ran a bunch of errands and stopped for a lot of people watching and chatting, I weeded my flowerbeds (10 days in a row of rain really did a number on them), got a massage, and took naps. Oh, and our favorite ice cream shop opened up another location, which is even closer to us now.
But I didn't sleep well last night and generally feel crappy today.
doglove I can't wait to see your photos from Ireland neonpink that is a steal of a deal on airfare to Paris.

Chalupa.. Scott's Cheap flights. It will change how you travel. I've gone to London for $400.00, Paris, $300, St Marteen for 350. My friend just got back from Thailand for $600. It's amazing. I can't believe I am going to be traveling with my friends.
So jealous of the travelers! neonpink - thank you for the reference to Scott's Cheap flights...I hope they're still around once I finally pay off my student loans. I want to take my H to England to see a Liverpool or Manchester United game in person
I had a good weekend...we potted some Mandavilla plants (and a lemon tree!). We had a good strong storm. We watched some good movies.
H being on short term disability is throwing my game. He's >always< here (home). Home is where I work. I'm going to have to start making trips to the library. Too much of a good thing isn't good for you.
SwimDeep, There are always ways to find cheaper deals on flights. You just need to be flexible. Even before this I would wait and hunt for good airfare. I would love to see a premier league team play. I don't really follow anyone to closely at the moment.
I think the library would be a good place to get some work done. When I was home/work from home it throws my H's routine off. Like why are you home? Especially when I used to be gone 12-14 hours.
tiramisu, With your job do you float the other day, like have Friday/Saturday off or a mid week day off? It would be strange to now work on a typical weekend day again for me.
neonpink I work Sunday though Wednesday every week. I'm sure I'll get used to it once I've been doing it for longer than a few weeks.
I could totally do that. I kind of like it. I bet it will take some time to get used to.
I think so too, but I also really like the schedule. Having three days off every week is like a dream! Plus I don't start so early Sunday that I can't do anything on Saturdays.
tiramisu, I work on Saturdays and then have Sundays and usually Wednesdays off (sometimes it is Tuesday instead of Wednesday) and I love having a week day off. It helps me get appointments scheduled and things done instead of always having to do appointments in the evening.
