Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I had to stop running at about 31 weeks pregnant this time around because of bladder issues and I feel like I'm pretty much starting from scratch.

I was so tired last week, and this week is a cut back week and now I have all this extra energy. I'm glad to have a lighter week this week, but man, taper is going to suuuuuuck if I can't even handle a low mileage week this early in training.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! My Garmin 735xt stopped working on Sunday! It was after a swim and it started flickering and then I turned it off and on. After that the screen was all messed up and dark. I'm so sad my arm feels naked. It's only a year and a half old and I don't know what happened. I went onto Garmin's website to see about it getting it repaired and it said it was out of warranty, but I went to fill out a repair ticket and then it said it was eligible for a free repair or replacement. I have no idea how that works. So I sent it in and I'll hope for the best. I don't think it's repairable, but hopefully I can get a refurbished one.

It looked like he was doing a morning walk since he was dressed in sweat clothes. I couldn't think of anything to say so I ended up stupidly yelling "Jeff" and he responded "hello" with a thickly southern accent. So I know it was him.

Yeah, I tried it on, LOVED IT, and then put it back on the shelf for about two weeks while I went to every single store on my side of the beltway that sells such things and tried on every single one I could...and disliked all of them except that one. I mean, the one I really loved the best was the VaporHowe, but that was even more expensive. LOL. Though I think you can find past year versions for much cheaper right now. (I also had very specific needs since I wanted it to work for marathon training (perfect!) and an ultralight overnight bike trip (tight squeeze, but totally worked) and the imaginary adventure race I'm goign to do one of these days when I learn how to mountain bike.)
I also spent a lot of time eyeballing the Ultimate Direction vests, but there wasn't anywhere local I could see them in person at the time.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! My hips have been super tight and angry. I got my marathon training plan and I'm happy with it except I realized that my heaviest/ most challenging week falls when I am on vacation. It just of kind of how the schedule falls and totally a first world problem.
Any AW's or brags? My motivation mojo is back, I feel excited and energized for the first week of training. Now if I can hold onto that for the next 15 weeks

mrshandy I have 2 Ultimate Direction hydration packs. Both are great. One is larger and one is smaller and lighter. I like the smaller one for road running and the larger one for trails, because I can stuff a lot of things in it.
Plan this week Monday- nothing Tuesday- 30 min spin at lunch, 45 min row/strength class pm Wednesday- 60 min hot yoga at lunch, 60 min mtb pm Thursday- hopefully a lunch spin class Friday- pt in the am that’s probably it Weekend - hoping for two mtb rides !
Vents- well my ankle still isn’t better. Feeling like all this Pt has been for nothing and there’s no hope. I probably just have to stop running
Aws- well I’m finally feeling better after being sick with pneumonia, it really wiped me out. I am feeling good now though, feels so nice to actually have energy to work out ! Had a great ride this evening
H&F gear- well I just bought new sneakers. I went to the local running store and bought the shoes they suggested. Stability instead of the neutral I was wearing. Maybe these will help me!
laurack What kind of mtb do you ride? A few months ago I replaced my old 29ner HT Specialized Fate with a FS Liv Pique Advanced.
I ride a giant trance 3. It’s my first full suspension and overall I’ve been very happy with it! I got a great deal as it was a demo bike
I’ll probably be ready in the next year to make my next jump but it’s a little alarming to see the prices.
My bike is a little heavy so I’ll be looking for something lighter. The best bike I ever rode was a top spec yeti beti doing a demo but the price was over $8000. Man that bike was light and awesome though!
My H just got a new bike and he went with a guerilla gravity bike- not sure if you’ve heard of them but they make the frames in the USA not abroad but they keep the costs down, it’s pretty cool.
